Gray Matters

This must have been a dream. No way was it a memory of his. Durbe must have gotten it wrong because there was no way in all these lands that his baby sister had been engaged to that crazed lunatic. Who was not so crazed or lunatic at all? [Nasch/Shark-centric, past-Gorgonicshipping, during episode 118 of Zexal - overall - the first part of the memory trip. T to be safe.]

This is a headcanon of mine ... won't make sense if you don't know Vector's background.

Gray Matters

"Merag..." Nasch spoke.

The princess looked at him in question, turning away from Vector, her fiance and the king of a foreign land. The redhead kissed her forehead softly and smiled at Nasch before leaving them alone to talk.

"What is it, brother?" she asked.

"I feel... weird... about your fiance." her king spoke slowly, something strange in his blue eyes. Merag frowned, clearly confused.

"Something weird? How so? We just signed the peace treaty with his kingdom yesterday..."

"What? Peace!?" Nasch burst out, causing his sister to look at him weirdly.

"Yes, brother. Peace. You signed it yourself with Sir Durbe's approval."

The king seemed to look at something to the side but, when she looked there, the space was empty.

"My king, are you looking for something?"

"W-why are you so f-friendly with him?" Nasch asked instead, still looking at that spot with a strange look in his eyes. Merag's eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms slowly.

"He is my fiance. You personally approved of the marriage when he asked you for my hand ..."

"N-no..."

"What is wrong with you, Nasch?"

The king just walked away, causing her to be even more confused since that particular spot was still empty.

If you are confused about what's going on with Nasch, it's simple. This was during the flashback Durbe showed him and Merag but, for whatever reason, he could still interact with his past (?) sister... the 'spot' he was looking at was in fact the silverhead himself, looking for some sort of explaination.
