Hey everybody I read this book awhile ago and I fell in love with it but it didn't have a fanfiction this makes me sad because it is such a great book so this one-shot isn't really to entertain but to get more people to read and write about this story! I would also like to add a warning as much as I love writing I stink at grammar so if there is any incorrect grammar I'm sorry!
That first kiss was the one that started it all. After me and riley kissed we went back to work. After work Riley and i took a trip to Finn's house. When we were there we went in to talk to him. Riley told him that I overheard him and Riley talking about him cheating on me. Then i told Finn about how I have felt since the beginning of the summer and how I didn't feel like we were really in love anymore. He agreed and said he was sorry that he was cheating on me and that he would miss me.
Now came the hard part Riley and I had to tell Finn about what we discovered when we were at the Restaurant. I started by telling Finn that I had started having feelings for another guy just as he had for another girl. Then Riley told Finn about his break up with Ava. At this point Finn looked completely confused. His face even got more confused when Riley took my hand. I said at last "Finn, I love Riley." Than Riley said that he loved me too.
Finn said he was happy for us and that he was again sorry for cheating on me. I said I was sad that our relationship had to end like this but I knew that it was for the best.
Through the summer and school year I kept working at Riley's Restaurant. This time me and Riley almost always had the same hours. We would steal away during our lunch breaks and go to his office and talk and maybe kiss a little. I would get judged by the others because now not only was I the favorite waitress I was now Riley's girlfriend. So whenever something went bad like a broken air conditioner or something needed to be fixed the girls came and pimped me up and sent me to see my loving boyfriend.
Throughout the school year I saw Finn and Bianca together and they looked happy. I was happy for them. Once we graduated me and Riley went to college together both majoring in something that allowed us to further manage the Restaurant. We were together all throughout college and after until a year after college Riley took me out to dinner and proposed. It was beautiful and kind and sweet.
Everyday that I get up next to him I am reminded that I made the right choice in falling for Riley.
