Today is "Lost" day. If you don't know what that means then you have never watched the show Lost. A short explanation: the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 appeared constantly in the show, a lottery ticket, the numbers to push to keep the world from blowing up, etc. That's really all you need to know if you aren't a "Lost" fan. If you are a Lost fan, then all I can say is "Finally".
I don't own Bones or Lost. Believe me, I wish I did.

Searching for Brennan in the Lab, Booth stepped inside Dr. Jack Hodgins' Ookey room and found the entomologist sitting in front of a table. Now normally, Booth could care less what his friend was up to, but really how could he ignore a black box with a red and white button centered in the middle of it? Next to the box, Booth noticed a clock with a large greenish display. Currently it was displaying 04/08/15 16:18:17.
Puzzled, Booth stood safely near the open doorway, crossed his arms and asked, "Okay, what are you up to Bug Boy? Does Cam know you're doing another experiment?"
Startled, Hodgins glanced at Booth and then back at the clock, "I'm not doing anything dangerous . . . well, I don't think I'm doing anything dangerous. We'll see in a few minutes."
Taking a step back so that he was now standing in the doorway and not in the room, Booth cleared his throat, "What the hell does that mean? Either you're doing something dangerous or you're not. If you are, then just stop it. My wife and child are in this building."
His eyes still on the clock, Hodgins remarked, "It's Lost Day."
Now feeling a little confused, Booth shook his head, "Okay and what does that mean?"
Rubbing the end of his nose, Hodgins explained, "On the TV show 'Lost', there were these numbers that kept showing up on the show." Glancing quickly at Booth, Hodgins asked, "Did you watch 'Lost' when it was on?"
Reluctantly, Booth nodded his head, "Yeah, I did and I know what the numbers are, 4 8 15 16 23 and 42. So what? What does that have to do with what you're doing?"
Nodding his head, Hodgins returned his attention back to the clock, "Well, today is April 8, 2015 and the time is 16 hundred and 21 minutes and 15 seconds. When the clock displays 16 hundred and 23 minutes and 42 seconds I'm going to press this button."
Taking a half step out into the hallway, Booth asked his friend, "And what's going to happen then? Do you have that rigged up to a bomb or a time machine or something?"
Amused, Hodgins shook his head, "It's not hooked up to anything. This is going to be a leap of faith. I'm going to push the button and see what happens."
Wary, Booth took a step back into the room, "If it isn't hooked up to anything then nothing will happen."
Just a little annoyed, Hodgins shook his head, "I thought you were a man of faith. If anyone understands what I'm doing and why, I'd expect it to be you."
Watching the clock closely, Booth replied, "I have faith, but I'm not crazy. 'Lost' was just a TV show. Those numbers don't mean anything. You are such a nerd."
The time almost upon them, Hodgins moved his hand so that it now hovered over the button, "If you don't think anything will happen or can happen then walk away, I dare you."
Nervously, Booth bit his bottom lip and shook his head, "Nothing is going to happen."
The clock, relentlessly moving forward in time suddenly displayed, "04/08/15 16:23:42. Hodgins slapping his hand down on the button held his breath and waited.
Suddenly, the lights went out and the entire Lab was enveloped in pitch darkness.
Booth, frozen where he stood, shouted "Fuck!"
A voice echoing down the hallway, cried out, "Hodgins, what the hell did you do this time?
