Summer Emotions

She was glistening snow white under the moons pale glow as tears spilt over her rosy colored cheeks. "W-why would you say something like that Sasuke?" she cried. His eyes grew colder and his frown deepened "Because its not a lie, I truly hate you." Her tears slipped off her cheeks flooding her eyes with droplets of despair. She fell to her knees with her face buried in her hands tears falling like waterfalls. "Stop you're insolent crying. A real Shinobi should know not to let emotions be revealed. Now stand you worthless ninja and leave me be." Sasuke sneered, turning away from Sakura. She sat there still trembling at what her old teammate just said to her. "H-how can you say that?" she stuttered before hiccups took over her speech and tears spilt over once more. He turned to her and stated: "Because I hate you." and activated his sharingan. She knew him and he wouldn't activate his sharingan unless he truly hated her. She screamed in terror and ran when she realized he was about to use the sharingan on her. "God I'm such an idiot for trying that. I knew he was going to reject me but not like that." She said to herself while running as fast as she could still sobbing. As she neared Kohona she saw Naruto walking out of the main gate. "Naruto!!!!!!" she screamed out "Wait!!!!!!!" Naruto looked at her and was immediately tackled to the ground. Naruto gazed down at the pink haired ninja as she clutched his shirt tightly still sobbing and hiccupping. "S-sakura-chan? Are you ok?" His blue eyes filled with concerned with concern scanned her body for physical injuries. Sakura managed to control her hiccups momentarily to tell the blonde what she had done and sasuke's reaction to it. Naruto's eyes fell as she tried to convince Sasuke to love her too. "That arrogant bastard has no heart Sakura-chan, how can you love him?" he asked. "I don't know Naruto-kun. Its just something about him." She replied. "Let me walk you home Sakura-chan. You need some rest. The next morning Sakura saw Naruto sleeping in a chair across the room. "He must have stayed with me all night." She said to herself. When Naruto woke up he heard Sakura calling his name He stretched while answering :"What Sakura-chan?" Sakura looked downward thinking about last night and said "Thanks for staying." Naruto gave Sakura a goofy grin and said "Anytime Sakura-chan." As they were walking out of Sakura's house Naruto spotted sasuke out of the corner of his eyes and snarled "You bastard!!! What the hell is wrong with you!!!" Sasuke smirked and said "Whatever do you mean?" "You know what I'm talking about Baka!!! Making Sakura cry like that!!!!" Naruto yelled angrily. "She asked me if I loved her and I answered her question. Her reaction was….interesting." "YOU BASTARD!!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!" The one tailed fox demon cloak began to surround him. Sakura, remembering the fight with Orochimaru, shouted "Naruto!!!! Please, Stop!!!!!" Tears were beginning to form at the bottom of her eyes. "S-sakura-chan!" The fox cloak dissipated. "Emotions are just a burden. give up on them." said sasuke. "You're the one that left the village for revenge! And you almost killed Naruto and went to Orochimaru just to get stronger!!" Sakura shouted getting a shocked look from Naruto. "Shut up." Sasuke muttered. "What did you say?!" said Sakura. "I said SHUT UP!!!! CHIDORI!!!!" He ran at her so fast there was no chance of her dodging. Naruto started to run to try to move her out of the way but was pushed away by a blurred green figure. Sakura shuddered as she heard bones snapping and warm liquid covered her face. When she opened her eyes she saw a familiar boy in green falling to the ground. Naruto and Sakura shouted in unison "LEE!!!!!!!"
