After 7x02, I was so upset. Castiel better not die, or at least not like that. So I made my own plot twits. I am sorry for the mistakes I made, my first language isn't English.

Enjoy!

And Dean, Dean is in the water, and he doesn't even notice until he steps on a sloppy rock and fall. He can't breathe for a few seconds until he reaches the surface again.

"Cas!" He calls, but the angel just keeps on walking, arms slightly seperated from his body, his trench coat all wet and heavy. He removes it with a quick move of his shoulder, and Dean knows it's never going to be the same again.

Dean pulls out his own coat, and shoes, he gets on his stomach and manages to crawl to Castiel moments before the head of the fallen angel disapear into the cold, dark water.

"Castiel", Dean whispers, and he grabs onto the tie and the shirt of the man once known as Jimmy Novak.

But Castiel is nothing but a dead corpse by now, and as the water turns black, Dean dives with the body, refusing to let go.

It's really peaceful underwater. Dean open his eyes, but he can't see a thing. He still have his hand twisted on the front of the shirt of the angel, so he pulls Cas as close as he can. Suddenly, the water becomes clearer. The creatures inside Cas have disapeared into the pipes. Dean feels his lungs ache, but he can't let go, not now, not after all this time.

He pictures Sam and Bobby calling out for him. He looks at Castiel's face, his vison blurred by the water, no emotions or sign of life whatsoever in his eyes. Nothing. Dean knows he only have a few seconds before he will drown himself. He is going deeper into the water as the seconds fly by, and all Dean can think of is that time Cas was his partner for a job, when Sammy was gone.

"When humans want something badly... They lie."

Dean pulls Cas closer now, and kisses him, or try to, pushing his lips on those cold, covered in blood ones.

"Don't you forget me, you son of a bitch. Don't you dare give up on me, because I'm not giving up on you." he thinks while removing his trembling lips and letting go of the shirt and tie. He wants to save Cas from the water, but he 's too weak, his clothes are heavy, or maybe it's just his heart, sinking to the bottom of the lake with the angel.

He manages to reach the surface, breathing hard and panting, a shout from Bobby and Sam making his head turn to his right. When he reaches them, he is shivering, cold and broken.

It's Sam that hands him the trench coat, who had float down to them. His hands are shaking when he grabs the only thing that's left from him.

Dean takes it in both hands, squeezing it like it could actually bring Cas back.

But Dean knows. He just knows that Castiel won't come back, like his mother did, or his father, Ash, Ellen, Jo.

"He's gone."
