AN: Hello everyone! I wanted to do a one-shot for The Little Emerald, to celebrate it reaching 50 reviews! I hope you all like it!
I do not own Harry Potter, or Five Nights At Freddy's.
Giada Draven, out!
Emerald was about 8 years old when he first baked cookies so that he could have fun instead of doing it as a chore. Chica had called him into the kitchen, saying, "Emerald, sweetheart, do you want to make some cookies?"
Emerald, being a complete and utter Momma's boy, raced to the kitchen as soon as the cameras were off of him. Once there he found there was flour, eggs, milk, all sorts of ingredients to use in making homemade cookies. In the middle of it all was Chica in an apron, a smaller version in her hand. Cupcake was on the counter, apparently there as supervision.
Emerald's Dursley mentality not having left him completely, he rushed to get it on and to begin making the cookies. As he reached for the apron, Chica held it out of reach. She had seen how quickly he was moving, and after what he had told them about his 'relatives' she knew he thought he would have to make them by himself. So she turned him around and put the apron, patterned with green polkadots, around him. "Emerald, snap out of it. You never have to do anything by yourself, ever again. Besides, I wanted to make cookies with you because that is something every child should do with family."
With that, she brought out two stools and plopped the child down onto the swiveling seat, settling herself onto the other. Then they grabbed the large mixing bowl and the ingredients to get started. Since Emerald tried to measure the flour by himself, they both ended up with the white powder all over themselves. This drew the attention of Freddy, who was comfortable leaving the stage since it was the guards fourth night. A faint shout was heard from the office when the guard checked the cameras, finding that no one was on stage and Foxy was about to leave Pirate Cove.
Freddy found them covered in flour and laughing their butts off, and soon joined in the attempt of baking chocolate chip cookies. By the time the oven was going and the cookies baking, all three had snacked on chocolate chips and raw cookie dough. They were coated in flour and sugar, eggs in Freddy's fur and butter on Chica's feathers. Around 5 AM, they went back into the dining room, holding a big plate of the cookies. Bonnie found them, congratulating them on the cookies and suggesting that they give them out to some of the kids when they open.
Around this time, the guard was freaking out. On her fourth night, it was a lot harder than it should have been. Bonnie had been at her door almost every time she checked, and Freddy and Foxy were unforgiving in their attack. What worried her the most, however, was that the small black one and Chica had been gone for the entire night, and Freddy had even disappeared at one point. When she checked the kitchen's audio, she heard the oven closing, indicating that was where the animatronics had disappeared to.
She sincerely hoped that she would survive the night, since she had her parents at home, who had told her not to take the job. She hadn't listened, and now look where she was. As soon as the clock hit 5:30, she looked out the doors, just as Foxy ran into the office with a mechanical screech.
Those in the dining room heard the screech, and the lack of the doors closing, and knew that Foxy had gotten the guard. She had lasted longer than the last few, and so had became a bit of an annoyance. Emerald put down the tray of cookies and skipped down the west hall, going to help Foxy with stuffing the guard into a suit. To the eight-year-old, this was the best day ever.
