"ARGH! Ye be in me territory!"
"Why are you a pirate?"
"I don't know, I just felt like it. Now, be gone, ye scallywag!"
"Argh, this be me scales!"
"Well, if ye want ye territory, fight me!"
The white-haired 7-year-old lifted one of the hands of the small dolls he had and grabbed a toy, plastic bow. Pulling back the string with the other hand, a pretend arrow whizzed through the air.
"OW! I BE HIT!"
His brother, who was only 6, let the zombie-in-a-suit plush fell off the poorly-made, Lego 'Scales of Justice'. The toy hit the ground and the red-haired brother grabbed a tiny, dull sword and tried to slash at his brother's own character. But the toy hit him with another 'arrow' and fell to the ground.
"AUGH! NO, I LOST ME LAND!" he cried in anguish, falling back against the carpet floor.
Mianite laughed in triumph and settled his sister's doll (which he borrowed) in his rightful place. The doll had black hair, red-rimmed glasses and a white undershirt, covered with a black jacket.
"TRIAL!" Dianite crowed, sitting back up and grabbing the red-capped man from Mianite's side. He lifted the toy's hand and made it seem like it was justifying.
They clambered to the small hut they made out of sheets and pillows and climbed inside, putting the plushie inside the 'cage'.
"What do you have to say for yourself?!"
The plush simply gave it's permanent, sewed smile, but Mianite said, "Tom said I had to kill him for it! So I did!"
Before either could say anything, the sheets were put aside before closing after whoever walked in.
"NOT GUILTY!" their older sister said, sitting cross-legged by their trial.
The purple-haired 10-year-old grinned at her siblings before grabbing Jordan from Mianite's hold.
"I PLEAD NOT GUILTY!"
Dianite grinned before counting down from 3. "3...2...1!"
At the same time, Dianite said guilty while Mianite exclaimed not. Ianite stayed silent, not wanting to interrupt their vote.
Dianite pouted in disappointment whilst Mianite grinned, grabbing Tucker and the fox-hooded girl they named Sonja. Ianite pulled Jordan from the jail and they exited the 'courtroom'.
"Arr! Ye got lucky this time!" Dianite said, returning to his pirate-y act.
"Argh! I don't need ye foolish luck!" Ianite played along.
"Well, I heard there's pirate coming!" Mianite said excitedly, throwing up Sonja's arms in excitement.
"Well, where are they?" Dianite growled, turning the happy-looking zombie, as if he was really looking around.
"Well, if they had a lighthouse, we would know where they are," Mianite said, grinning slyly.
"You can't make a lighthouse out of Legos! It's unnatural!" Dianite growled, glaring at his white-haired brother.
"They be over 'ere!" Ianite said, beckoning them over to an old model ship with Jordan's hand before an argument could break out.
The brothers tripped over each other to get there first. Little toy pirates marched out of the ship.
"Argh! We finally reached ye land!" Dianite growled, guiding the captain to the dolls.
"We need a map. Do you have one?" Mianite said hopefully, moving Tucker forward.
"We do! But that be our prized possession. Ye can't take our booty!"
"As captain to captain, can I have it?"
"No!"
The tiny captain left, and the sibling raided the ship for the map.
They went on to go to lands of magic and the mystical goddess that had stayed hidden for so long come out of hiding.
Their plushies and imagination took them places amazing, despite nothing being real at all.
I was bored.
