A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS: You'll Never Forget Moira

Moira Tucker skipped down the stairs. Apparently, she didn't notice that Duncan Quagmire was staring at her like she was a nutcase- which she was.

"Good morning, everyone!" Moira chirped at the top of her lungs.

"Moira, I'm the only one here." Duncan laconically replied.

"Oh. By the way, have you seen my typewriter? Doctor White might go a teeny bit ballistic if I don't have my report on Jade done by Monday." Moira answered.

"I'm using it. Vince Burke's going to go more ballistic than a nuclear missile if I don't have my feature on that bank heist in his office by Monday." Duncan replied.

Moira reached for the coffee beans, and then put them in the blender.

"Moira, couldn't you just use a coffee grinder?" Duncan asked.

"It's faster if you use a blender! Besides, I've found that's finer if you use the blender." Moira answered.

"That's because you've turned the beans into dust." Duncan retorted.

After 10 minutes, Moira sat down with her teddy bear mug and coffee.

"So, how are Quigley and Violet doing?" Moira asked.

"Vi's pregnant." Duncan answered.

"Isn't that sweet? A nice, bouncing baby!" Moira replied.

"And I'm the spare." Duncan muttered.

Just then, the taste of orange-flavored lipstick hit Duncan like a freight train. And only one person he knew wore orange-flavored lipstick.

"Moira- did you just- kiss me?" Duncan asked.

Moira grinned a cheerful little grin. Duncan wasn't the spare anymore…and he'd never forget Moira.
