A/N: Hello! Thanks for reading!
VIRTUAL COOKIES FOR ALL
Also, the time line is all mixed up. Teal'c doesn't know what Christmas is, but at the time when people were sent to Atlantis, Teal'c would have been on Earth for a few years and know what Christmas is. So again, sorry.
Disclaimer: I do not own Stargate SG-1, or any of the characters within.
Teal'c looked at Jack strangely, as if he hadn't understood the statement. Which, of course, he hadn't. Jack was 99 percent sure they didn't have Christmas parties in Chulak. "Christmas," Jack said helpfully. Teal'c continued to look at his Tauri friend as if he were insane.
"What is this...Christmas?" Teal'c asked hesitantly.
"It's a holiday," Daniel, who had just walked into the room, volunteered. "Humans celebrate the birth of the son of God, Jesus. Which, from a religious standpoint, is fine. But there is a lot of evidence to suggest that Jesus wasn't actually born in December. He was really born in March."
Jack stared at Daniel accusingly. "Way to ruin Christmas, Daniel. Now why'd you have to go and do that?"
Daniel made a face and shrugged. "I was just trying to give the facts."
"People don't care about the facts, Daniel. All they care about is the presents."
Sam Carter, who had been listening to the entire conversation up until this point, decided it was time to intervene. "I don't think that's true, Colonel. There are quite a few people out there who like to spend their Christmas' with their families, those who care nothing for the gifts. In fact, I know a lot of soldiers on Atlantis would love nothing more than to be home with their families right now."
"That's true, I guess."
Sam looked over to Teal'c. "Christmas is a holiday where you spend time with the people you love and cherish. Everyone has someone on Christmas."
Teal'c took this in, thinking. "Then, would it not be appropriate for me to seek out Ry'ac?"
Sam smiled. "It would indeed. And of course, you're always welcome to spend the holidays with us."
Teal'c bowed his head. "I thank you, Major Carter. I must go to try and find where my son has gone off to."
"Bye, Teal'c." Sam got up to give the big man (anyone got a better word that descrives Teal'c, cuz I don't) a hug. "Good luck."
Teal'c left the room, and Jack knocked the metal table with his fist softly. "So... anyone want some boozy eggnog? I hear they have some in the dining room."
A/N: HHMMMMM. I think it's weird. Jack is off. Daniel is off. Sam is off. And Teal'c didn't once say "indeed".
If anyone has something to make it better, tell me in the reviews or PM me so I can fix it.
BYE! ;3
