Every step Ryou took was a step further away from comfort and security, from all that he knew.
Every step Téa took in following him led to a path of uncertainty, from what she had been familiar with all this time.
And yet they were together anyway, having been through thick and thin, hand-in-hand, and they were always together. Each obstacle that threatened to tear them apart happened to make their bond even stronger, perhaps more than ever.
With every little step they made, after all that they had been through, their bond grew tighter.
Her soft hand was carefully curled around with his lightly calloused one as they looked at the road ahead of them. It was far as the eye could see, and the possibilities were just endless.
There was nothing to stop them and no one would dare cross them or step in their way.
The decision was theirs, and the two clearly didn't take no for an answer.
It was theirs, and no one else's.
