Agents Hastings and Robb were sitting around a large circular table, piles of papers covering the surface in an organised chaos. The two of them were studying the files on possible candidates to work in the FBI. Robb held up the file he was reading and waved it in front of Hastings face who frowned in annoyance as her concentration was broken and glared at him.

'What?'

Robb waved the file he was holding again.

'We have to hire this guy. I'm telling you, he's gonna go places, he's gonna be one of the best.'

She frowned at him in confusion.

'How do you even know that? We've never met any of these people in real life.'

'Because of his family.'

Hastings gave him a stern look.

'You know we can't just hire candidates due to family.'

'Yeah I know but I can tell this kid's gonna be an exception. His name's Parker Matthew Booth.'

Booth… Why does that name sound familiar?'

Robb simply grinned in response.

'I'll get to that soon. First off, his mother is a Rebecca Stinson who is a lawyer and his step-dad is a Drew Lowery who owns a construction company.'

Hastings gave him a look.

'I get that his mother could help him on cases but it's definitely not worth all the excitement you showed before.'

Rob laughed.

'But wait, there's more! His father is one Seeley Booth and his step-mother is the famous Dr Temperance Brennan.'

At this Hastings gasped, her eyes wide.

'The famous Agent Booth and Dr Brennan?! Damn. The two of them set the highest solve rate and no-one has broken it so far!'

'I know right! This kid's dad is amazing. Loved field duty and did it for as long as he could, and the moment he stopped he gets offered to be the deputy director, and he deserves it of course. Booth junior could just get the job without all this selection fuss.'

Hastings added to his speech.

'And Dr Brennan is amazing as well. One of the best forensic anthropologists in the world! Like how amazing is that? From all the anthropologists in the world, she's the best!'

Robb laughed at how much the two of them were fangirling over the famous partners.

'But wait, there's even more!'

Hastings looked at him in surprise.

'More?'

He nodded his head and continued.

'To top it all off, Booth junior's godmother is a Miss Caroline Julian, the former, but famous, Assistant United States Attorney.'

Hastings looked even more amazed than before.

'THEE Caroline Julian?! Wow this kid has one high-ranking family.'

Robb nodded at her statement and she spoke up again.

'You know though, you don't need to put your godparents in, meaning he did it just to make his résumé even more impressive than it already is so he'll be accepted.'

Robb gave a small chuckle.

'Well it worked didn't it?'

Hastings gave a slight pause before speaking up.

'Of course it did. Put him on the approved pile.'

Robb laughed as he put Parker Booth's file on the approved list, but both agents knew that the kid was going to fly high to success.
