Summary::..It will be you who wears the crown and I'll owe everything to you... Quinn kissed Finn because it was what everyone expected from her.

Finn was the best looking and most popular boy in their grade. Everyone knew this and the people who knew this also knew Quinn to be the most popular girl in their grade. Everyone knew their names; everyone cared which table they sat at in the cafeteria. Only a select group of other really cool people could call Finn and Quinn their friends. The other less cool people could pretend they didn't care. But they did. Everyone cared.

Quinn had never wanted to be anything other than a Queen. She needed to be a leader, to be the best. Her popularity was easily cemented. With her pretty blonde hair, her self-confidence and her athletic abilities the other students in the grade were naturally drawn to her. She wore fashionable, clean clothes and had a new school bag whenever anyone bought one remotely resembling hers. They all followed her lead, constantly craving her approval.

It didn't occur to her then that the decisions she made weren't her own. She listened to the music that was popular. She wore the clothing brands that were popular. She laid her lips on Finn because he was popular. All she knew was to be popular; luckily she was so great at it.

Quinn was so used to having Finn in her life. Ever since she had kissed him in grade five he had been a part of her life. They would hold hands when walking down the halls together. They would kiss briefly when parting for separate classes. They would always sit together at lunch, although they were often too preoccupied with talking to friends to have a conversation with each other. She cheered him on at every football game and every morning he told her how pretty she looked in her Cheerios uniform. They went to parties together and the majority of the messages in his phone inbox were from her.

Not as many people followed her now as they had in grade school. But everyone still knew who she was and when they thought of her Finn entered their mind quickly after. They had their loyal followers and no one dared question their popularity. They were the King and Queen of this high school. They always would be. They were a part of this place. William McKinley High School would fall apart if they ever broke up.

Quinn wasn't sure if she was attracted to Finn. She couldn't tell. When she had first become his girlfriend she had been too young to fathom a physical attraction to anyone. She supposed she didn't have much say in it. She would have to be attracted to Finn until the end of high school. She would be his Queen for three more years. She wasn't one to break rules.

Then why couldn't she get Puck off of her mind?

As Finn held her crying form in his arms Quinn knew he fully believed the baby to be his. He was such a sweet guy. He was like the Prince Charming she didn't feel she deserved. She couldn't tell him about Puck. She couldn't do that to him. He didn't deserve it.

Now she supposed she would be with him for the rest of her life. She considered it could be a lot worse. Finn was probably the nicest boy she would be able to call her own. She buried her face in his chest. He loved her. That was good enough for her.

The End.
