Steve is a hacker who lives a rich life. But then one of his hacks causes him to be sucked into a world made of cubes- Minecraft. Here, he discovers that Herobrine is attacking villages and causing misery for the citizens of this strange world. He then meets a village that will help him go home, but only if he helps them kill Herobrine. Can he change his evil ways? OCs accepted.

Hack

Steve was a hacker. He hacked and hacked until he technology gave him what he wanted. His life was very good- until he decided to hack Minecraft. You see, ever since the entire Herobrine thing ended, Notch has been careful when it comes to hacking. Instead of gaining control of Minecraft, which is what Steve wanted, he created a copy of Minecraft, that was real. Steve was trapped inside his copy of Minecraft.

"Where am I?" he asked himself aloud.
Around him was plains, made out completely of cubes. In the distance, he spotted a village. He had no idea what was going on, but he knew he should go there to see if the villagers could help him. As he stood up, he looked at himself and gasped. He wasn't the Steve he knew. He was Steve, the main character of Minecraft. He understood everything now. His hack had sucked his consciousness into his own creation- the copy of Minecraft.

The village was empty. The village was ruined. Something had attacked it. In the distance, the attacker stood. Steve could just about see it. What Steve saw was a reflection of his cube-self. Almost exactly the same. It seemed to glitch a bit, and the eyes were white. The attacker was Herobrine. The former-hacker disappeared, as if it just simply exited the game. But Herobrine would never do that. He would always be in the game, watching from a distance, unless someone killed him. Then he heard a moan. One villager survived. Steve rushed towards him.
"Are you OK?" he asked the villager, who nodded a repli.
"My name's Ryan," the large-nosed man breathed, "Ryan Seldom. A merchant from a nearby village. Hopefully, the glitch hasn't made it there yet."
"The glitch?"

"Yeah," Ryan replied, "That's what we call him. Looks like you, but white eyes and glitchy. He always glitches, as if he's not supposed to be here. Unlike you."
"Neither of us are supposed to be here," Steve explained, "I created this world, but Herobrine hacked into it, although it's only existed for a few days- in the time where I come from. Anyway, we better get to your village. I'll carry you if you give me directions."
Steve put Ryan over his shoulder and started to travel to the village.
