Loneliness
By StickmanRVR

Always feeling, but never saw... The others looked at me as if I was crazy.

I could feel him standing there; I could almost feel His oversized bangs surround my shoulders. I could feel His soft breath tease at the back of my neck, but when I excitedly spun around to see Him- He is not there. I turn around again, to come face to face with my older brothers, looking worriedly at me again. I tell them to stop, and they turn around without asking twice and start up their engines again.

But as soon as their a few meters in front, He's back, strong arms wrapping themselves around my chest, piercing jade eyes burning a hole through the back of my skull. It's all inside my head. Searching for our Mother's remains so we can strike back at the world that rejected us, and for what they did to Him.

Just because I feel Him, is He there? There are other things that you can feel but never see. Emotions, for example; you can feel pain, anger and sorrow, all that I'm used to, but you can't see it. The air, wind blowing our silver hair around our faces (1) cannot be seen, but the power can blow over buildings and trees.

Me or Him? Who does Mother like better? She wants the "Ultimate Fighter", am I not good enough? But whatever it does turn out as, the world will meet the same end.

Sometimes I feel lonely, even when I'm close to the Others. That's when having Him there can be nice. Haunting me, His presence; holding my hand, patting my head with battle worn fingers, kissing at my neck. That's why they look at me strangely, I try to return the sensitive feelings. Clinging onto arms not really there, fingering hair in my imagination, sleeping on an invisible body. But, I cannot do anything about it. I am haunted by Him. He is my brother, created by the same evil scientist that so many despise, and then slaughtered, by the same sword wielder that so many come to adore and love.

I push to go faster, leaving a dust trail behind me as I speed along the dusty landscape to catch up to my brothers, my team mates, my gang. Lost spirits. Fighting for what we know is the truth, to proceed with Mother's plans and bring Him back, For Reunion. Soon we come to a large rocky ledge, a single rusty sword sticking up from the deserted floor; a worn down city seen in the distance. As we look upon it, He's there once again. This time, my brothers seem to feel his presence too; we look at each other and smile, look at the space where we can feel Him. Four brothers, back together. In spirit.
