She had known the moment she had laid eyes on him that she was going to marry him. The smile that lit up his entire face, made her smile bigger and her knees go weak. He had approached her before leaving the bar that night, asking if she would like to grab dinner. She didn't have to think about, she agreed. Little did she know that her life would change after that one dinner.

She fell head over heels for this young cop. The next year had been a whirlwind. She went from a young, single woman to a smitten, in love women in such a short amount of time. Looking at herself in the mirror in her wedding dress, Linda could not believe that this day had finally come. She was marrying the man of her dreams.

She stood by him when he had decided to enlist in the Marines. Danny had asked her to wait for him. She watched him board the plane to Iraq, and held her breathe as she waited for her to come home. Fourteen long months later, she watched as he surprised her at work and asked her to become his wife. She couldn't say no. From the day she met him, Linda wanted nothing else.

Three months later, much to the chagrin of her parents, she was getting ready to walk down the aisle. She heard the numerous voices out in the church. She heard Erin telling Nicky to calm down and to do exactly as she had been shown.

"Linda, the guys are waiting. Are you ready?" her sister asked Linda. As much as she loved her own family, Linda just seemed to fit with Danny's family. They were her new family. And she couldn't wait to build that family with Danny.

"More than you know," Linda quietly replied. However it was close enough for Erin to hear and give her a small smile.

"Alright let's go."

As she hears the music begin and watch her sister, best friend, flower girl and soon to be sister-in-law walk down the aisle in front her, she seeks out the one person that means the most to her. She seeks out Danny and makes eye contact. She gasps at the sight of him in his dress blues of the NYPD not the dress greens of the Marines, something that his family had insisted upon. She feels the tears start to pool in her eyes when she sees him get his first glance of her. The look of surprise and love written cleanly across his face makes her realize this is the face she is going to wake up to for the rest of her life.

She doesn't even remember the service. She vaguely remembers saying their vows. The fact that she is promising her life to this man and him to her, made the tears come in earnest. Their first kiss as husband and wife, amazing. She had been in love with Danny since the day she met them and will love him for the rest of their life together and she wouldn't change it for the world.
