Japan walked around the streets of Italy on a wonderful night. Trees were decorated with lights of different colours, many Italians were dressed up in their finest. It was a festival night, quite charming. Laughing ran and played around with other kids, holding delicious candies in their hands. It reminded Japan of his summer festivals back in his country.
He grabbed his grey hat in order for it not to fly away when the wind gently whipped his face. After he opened his chocolate-brown eyes, he came to see a brownhaired Italian. He had the sweetest smile Japan ever saw, and the male was simply captivated by it. "Ve~ where are you from?" He asked with his happy tone.
He frowned and straightened up his back, of course, the male's asian characteristics would show that he was obviously a tourist. Japan thought about my words quickly before bowing shortly. "I am Kiku Honda, I'm from Japan -desu."
Japan bit his lip and frowned at the last part, since he wasn't used to the English language that much. The male looked at Kiku rather surprised before chuckling. "I see~ I'm Feliciano Vargas! Well, call me Feliciano, nice to meet you!" He greeted and showed his hand for greeting.
The Japanese man blinked several times in realisation. Feliciano Vargas? He recognized that name. "Y-you are a country?" He asked. Feliciano's small curl bounce up. "Yes, yes! How did you know~?" He asked and giggled. "I just-" before Japan could finish his sentence, the brunette quickly grabbed Japan's hand and dragged him to where the big crowd was.
"E-eh, where are you taking me?" The Japanese man asked rather surprised.
"To show you the fireworks! It's starting! It's starting!" Italy said happily.
Right in front of Japan's eyes, fireworks flew up into the night sky and bursted into a million pieces of colours. Italy smiled and stared at it before looking at Japan. The two nations stayed silent until their own existence drowned in the happy cheers of Italian people and tourists.
After the fireworks stopped, the stars stood still. People into the small city kept on dancing with joy. "That was beautiful... As expected from Italy..." Japan smiled warmly. Italy let out a small giggle. "You're amazing too, though, Japan!" Italy said. "I guess so..." Japan chuckled.
They walked back to where they were, and that was to walk through a small alleyway in two old buildings. While they walked, they talked about things they were interested in and disliked, hobbies, past, Italy's love for pasta, and such things like that.
When they just reached the corner, Japan stopped walking.
"I better return to my hotel. This was my last day before I'm going back to Japan." He informed, feeling rather disappointed in leaving his friend after a short amount of time. "Is that so?" Japan glanced up at Italy, he noticed that he was pouting.
The Italian male leaned over to kiss his lips.
"Please visit me again one day, hm?"
Japan turned red and frowned, quickly covering his mouth in embarrassment. He could only nod two times, being speechless for words. Italy grinned and walked away, waving happily. "Ciao!"
And that was Japan's first memory he would ever think of when he thought of his first experience in Italy.
