"…She is watching us again…" Laxus whispered to Evergreen. A visible shutter ran though the older woman's body, sweat starting to drip down her forehead. It was the day after the pool incident, and Lucy kept staring at the Raijinshuu. Well more specifically Evergreen.

That being said, Evergreen hasn't left the Raijinshuu's side since the embarrassing incident down the Love Love Slide. With Evergreen being starred down meant that the Raijinshuu had eyes glued to all their backs. Now Laxus was a some what patient man, but with all the drama that's been going on in the past couple of months have worn him down to the point that if Natsu asked for a fight, he would NOT hold back. So Laxus was getting irrational irritated at being stared at all day, got up,and went over to the big golden eyed girl at the bar who was slurping her milkshake like she was the victim of this whole situation.

"Blondie, stop staring." Laxus stood in front of Lucy, who looked around him,her gaze never leaving Evergreen's person. Evergreen shivered.

"Laxus, stop talking. I think I finally figured it out." Lucy muttered,around her straw,her pink lips puckered. Her blonde eyebrows come together as her eyes started to sparkle. Laxus raised his eyebrow and looked behind himself to his team mates. Bixslow and his babies, Freed reading, and Evergreen having a slight panic attack, what was there to figure out?

"What'd you figure out?" Laxus sat down next to her, she got him curious, "Finally going to take me up on my offer?" Laxus smirked as he thought about when he first meet the pretty blonde. He waved at the bartender to get him a whiskey as Lucy sputtered,spitting out her straw.

"…no…wait, what? I wasn't looking-"

"Staring." The bartender sat down his drink next to him, eyeing Lucy as he passed them. Laxus frowned, he was going to have to have a talk with the kid later. You do not ogle girls from Fairy Tail.

"Looking at you. Yesterday at the pool Evergreen and Elf Man went down the Love Love Slide. Together."

Laxus choked on his drink. Lucy patted him on his back as he sat down his drink. "Seriously?"

"Yep. I'm trying to figure why they're hiding their relationship."

Laxus blinked and turned around to stare at Evergreen with Lucy. "What makes you think they were? Hiding, I mean."

Lucy looked at him through the corner of her eye. "She turned him to stone."

"Pfft….like that helped." He smirked again. "Probably made her look more like Juvia more than anything..."

Lucy turned away from the Raijinshuu table to look at him fully, "Yeah….but I think I know why. Now,at least."

"Yeah why?" He gave he an amused look.

"She doesn't want it to effect anything. She wants everything to stay the same, she's scared."

"Scared of what?"

"If they make it public it makes it real, and she isn't sure if she wants it to be real."

Laxus nodded and leaned back on the bar, "Makes sense. Have you all ways been this good at reading people?"

"Ever since I was little." She gave a sad little smile,like she was remembering something unpleasent.

Laxus didn't like that look. Ever since she came she was always happy, rarely getting angry or even sad. She was like a shining ball of sunshine, and it was personal goal of her team to keep her shining. Natsu would be a gnat around him if he found out he made Lucy cry. "Um… Read me." That was his great idea to get her to stop thinking about whatever was making her look on the edge of crying.

"Why?" Her golden eyes watery with tears.

"If you can read me you can read anyone." He gave a hesitate smile, hoping she would cheer up.

"M'kay. Lets see…" Lucy sat down her drink and looked Laxus in the eye,making him a little uncomfortable. It was just a moment, but it felt like a life time to Laxus and he had to blink and shake his head.

"See anything Blondie?"

"…I saw something broken." Laxus smirked.

"Trust me sweetie, there is nothing broken with me."

Lucy smiled and rubbed his head, and patted it twice. "You're lonely, and it is breaking you."

Laxus stopped smirking and looked at her, "Yeah?"

"You don't have to be."

"Why's that."

"You have the Raijinshuu,…and if you can't talk to them, you have me."

Laxus looked at her, and she smiled at him, "….Laxus….in my book, when you helped us with Hades…you were forgiven….no matter what you have special part of my heart, just like everyone else here."

Laxus actually gave a small smile,and not one of his famous smirks, "Thanks Blondie."

Lucy smiled and grabbed his hand, "Walk me to my hotel room...here."

"What is it?" Laxus held up the chain with an silver L that she took from around her neck. It cursive, and curled at the top, and while it looked silver it was made from some other type of material that he didn't know of.

"A necklace. Aquarius gave it to me when… when I was lonely. She said that if I had it she was always with me, even if I forgot her key that day. I'm giving it to you now."

"Why?" Laxus squeezed her hand, tightly. "What if you need it again?"

She smiled as they started walking. "I don't need it anymore. I have Team Natsu, and you now. It's so you never have to be lonely again. I will always be with you, if you keep that on you."

Everyone of Fairy Tail watched what was happening between Laxus and Lucy.

"KAHHH~! This is so exciting! Maybe-" Mira began trying to get closer to hear what was going on between the with excitement.

"Grandkids." The Master finished with a rainbow over his head, just as excited

Of course, Natsu not understanding why Lucy was leaving without him tried to follow, but was held back by Gray who shook his head.

5 years later, Laxus and Lucy had a June wedding under the Sakura Trees, had two children, Lacey and Gaara, with one on the way.
