PROLOGUE

The sounds of footsteps can be heard echoing in the hallway as large mysterious man paces towards a decorative door.

The door automatically opens as he enters the room where he sees a woman sitting in between two beds. "They look so peaceful when they're sleeping.", The woman spoke softly, as she gazes upon her two sons, both which looked no more than the age of 5 and 6.

"I still don't want you to take him Diafes, he loves his brother too much."

The mysterious man known as Diafes remains silent as he watches the woman looking over at their offsprings. "We both knew that this was bound to happen at some point Ceenh, we tried to spend what little time we had as a family but it has to be over.", Diafes says in a deep and menacing tone as he address the situation at hand.

The woman now addressed as Ceenh looks towards Daifes, giving him a piercing look."The least you can do is take that damn helmet of yours off and spend some time with us."

Diaffes sighs as he reluctantly removes his helmet and walks in the room while standing beside Ceenh."Are you absolutely sure I can't take Kibel with me to Coruscant? The jedi there can take care of him while Ollentar stays with me."

"You know as well as I do that is not an option. The dark council are very well aware that I have a son Ceenh and they expect me to train him till he is ready to join the academy."

"You're right, but I'm also concerned about us. Do we act like none of this ever happened? Do we go back trying to kill each other once we're back on the field? Do we forget all that time we've spent together?", Ceenh asks as tears start to roll down her cheeks, fearing what the future will hold once the two part ways. Diafes, however, remains ever so silent.

Diafes walks towards his ship as he is carrying the sleeping Kibel over his shoulder while Ceenh walks behind him. Diafes turns around and looks at Ceenh as the ship's hanger door slowly opens.

"You do realize that they proabably won't remember each other, right?"

"Yes."

"And that they're going to end up killing each other as well?"

"Yes."

Ceenh sobs at the thought of her own children growing up only to have them kill each other fills her with dread; upon seeing her at this kind of state, Diafes does something uncharacteristic of him. He gives her one final hug.

"Farewell, my love."
