I'm
watching the wind blow
I'm watching the rain
I'm watching
this love grow no more
heartache or pain
as good as it gets-
The Feelers
Teddy was sulking. And he didn't plan on stopping anytime soon.
He sat on the window seat, watching the storm outside, determinedly not looking at the other side of the room. He hated himself for feeling like this. He hated the snarling beast that was yearning to jump out from inside him. Sighing, Teddy looked away from the window.
Big mistake.
James was sitting in the corner, his arms wrapped around a small, blonde figure. Teddy whipped his head back around, scowling. Bloody Melanie Mitchells. James had told him he didn't like her. James had told him something very different. James had made him happy.
Teddy couldn't help but think how satisfying it would be to rip that girl out of his arms by her hair and slam James up against the wall, demanding to know why. Why he hadn't even had the guts to break up with him first. Why it had to be bloody Melanie Mitchells, the school bike. Why he didn't love him anymore.
"Teddy?"
He turned. James was standing in the middle of the room by himself.
"I'm sorry."
"Yeah. Whatever."
He definitely wasn't going to stop sulking now. He could sit here being jealous for as long as he had to.
