The Doctor is dying, there's nothing you can do.
He is being killed Rose. He's being killed and there is nothing you can do. He'll see you though. You know he will. You remember it. You saw him before you knew him, after he knew you. Isn't that greedy, Rose? You're stuck here, never going to see him again, but he can see you whenever he wants.

BECAUSE HE'S DYING!
Rose let out a gut wrenching scream and awoke from her sleep.
Deep down she knew that the Doctor was dying. She knew that she couldn't do anything about it. She lay back down, those permanent tears streaming down her face.
