A/N: I've HATED not being able to write for so long (school has been keeping me pretty busy.) I had been planning this story in my head for a while so it feels good to finally be able to share it. The plan is to make this an ongoing story and have each new chapter represent a different adventure. It's around 2AM and Caskett have just gone to bed after a long day of crime solving. The city is quiet around them and the lights have been turned off.

Castle was ready to count sheep as soon as his head hit the pillows, but not before sitting back up to whisper a quick "I love you" to Beckett, followed by several sweet kisses.

Beckett knew how tired he was and truly wanted to let him rest, but there was something on her mind that would end up keeping her awake all night if she didn't share.

Castle was turned to the opposite side so Beckett scooted right next to him and rested her chin on his arm as she spoke.

"Caaaastle? Are you asleep?"

She only gets a deep inhale as a response.

"Babe, let's go on an adventure."

Castle jolts up and turns towards her while fighting to open his eyes.

"That's the sexiest thing you've ever said to me in bed."

"What about the time…?"

"During the first…?"

"Yeah and the part where…"

Castle smirks.

"True that was incredibly sexy. YOU are incredibly sexy! But right now tell me more about this adventure idea."

Beckett bites her lip in a smile. Castle lies back down and reaches his arm out to pull her in so they can cuddle.

"Well, I was just thinking it would be something fun to try. It can be as spontaneous or as planned as we want it to be."

"Are we still talking about an adventure?"

"Oh my gosh! Yes!"

Castle can't help but burst into laughter.

"Just checking! So this isn't like a hint to tell me that we're getting boring is it?"

Beckett was worried he was going to think that. She grabs his hand and pulls it towards her to kiss the back of it.

"No, not at all. I just want to start making some more memories together that don't always involve a murder. The other day I came up with an entire list of things I want to try and I want you there too."

"You sure Carly and the Goddess aren't messing with you from Europe?"

"CASTLE!"

"I'm kidding Beckett! When would I ever turn down an adventure, ESPECIALLY with you?"

"Well considering your eyes are still closed right now, I'm pretty sure that should answer your question."

Castle gasps. She totally caught him.

"OK let's make a deal. How about we rest up tonight and start adventuring tomorrow?"

As he waits for an answer, Castle kisses the top of Beckett's head and pulls the covers closer to them.

"You drive a hard bargain Castle," Beckett yawns. "But I'll agree to your deal."

"Goodnight Kate. Love you."

"Love you Rick."

"Always."

"Always."
