The Paladin stayed close behind you, and you could feel how uncomfortable he was in this house. You nod in response, while taking some health potions and a Terrance doll from the house's last golden handle cabinet, before staring at a door, the rest of the humans and elves stood outside. Stan said, that only you and your buddy would go in. Kyle said that we needed this faction, Kenny and Jimmy didn't say anything. And Cartman said there was no way he was going in there. You opened the door.
"Well, well, well." A blonde... girl? You hadn't seen a lot of girls so far in this game. Well, besides the princess, and that one girl with the bullies. "Look who got to start playing 5 minutes after entering this god damn town. It took me two months to get your precious wizard king to let me play. And I never got the hounor of fighting alongside a main faction." Her words came out bitterly and it was obvious she didn't like you. She was glaring at you, like she had laser eyes. She glanced over at the blonde next to you and her face softened. "At least you have good taste in buddies. Smart too."
There was a flash of lightning, and you couldn't help but notice the dark figure in the back. But you shrugged your shoulders and started fighting.
The duel wasn't very different from most duels you've had.
"Yeah, I kinda like the songs too." She said that every time you took more than 5 goddamn seconds to choose what to do. A thing that struck you as odd, was that she hadn't struck Butters. Wasn't one of his abilities that he had such a punchable face? Whatever, she was low on life. When she finally got under 500, she was starting to look weak. You didn't get to kill her off this turn, but her life was near gone.
"Crap. Anthony help." The dark figure turned out to be a blonde boy who didn't look very different from the girl, who stood by her, and… healed her? God damn it.
You manage to kill them off, but if you didn't kill them together, they would just resurrect each other. If the girl died, the boy would heal her as fast as possible. If you killed the boy first, the girl's attack would go up and she would get pissed, attack with one of her stronger moves, and then heal her brother the next she got. It was really started pissing you off.
You manage to kill both of them, and looted them. She had a strong range weapon, and he had a strong melee weapon. They also both had cure potions, and a small heal potion.
"Good job Douchebag." The rest of your buddies decided to join you reward you. You felt someone come up next to you.
"Ey… You're dead, you need to stay dead." Cartman yelled at the girl, while the boy told her. "Come on Annabell, it took us forever to play, do you want us to get kicked out of the game." The girl walked up to you and stood right in front of you. Everyone was uncomfortable. She punched her left fist in her right hand and… bowed. Like her with her whole waist.
"I now understand why you are a said to be the best fighter in Zaron. I respect you for that. Consider my brother and I your friends." Your phone went off indicating you had two new friends. And the girl stood back up. "What you guys need?"
"Clyde has a become evil, and we're getting as many factions as possible, we have to get the girls next." Kyle filled her in.
"Now, girls get to play." She snarled.
"We came to you guys first, to show you think of you as stronger."
"Fine. Douchebag!" You face the girl. "If you need both of us, just call for us. Come on Anthony."
While she walked away, your phone indicated that you had a new buddy. It was both of them. Guess they weren't the type to be separated.
