A/N: Hello Everyone! Ok, so this chapter is going to be a set up and the following chapters are each going to be about one character's family finding out about all the injuries they've sustained while at NCIS. Better than it sounds (I hope). Here we go, hope you enjoy, please review!
It started out as any other day. Ziva came early, McGee came on time, Tony came late, and Gibbs came when they caught a case. It was the usual dead marine discovered by people who probably didn't wake up this morning thinking they were going to find their dead friend in some weird place or position.
But that was all that was normal about that day.
As Tony, Ziva, Gibbs, McGee, Palmer, and Abby walked onto the scene (Ducky had the week off, so Abby had gone to assist Jimmy), the shed in which the body had been discovered suddenly exploded, sending all six investigators flying into the air, and violently crashing back down to the earth again. Bits and pieces of bomb fragments were sent everywhere. While their old crime scene had just been destroyed, a new one had just formed; the attempted murder of 6 members of NCIS.
