Disclaimer: I do not own Pom, the characters, or the setting. I do not own the lyrics or the song "Silent Night".
Kowalski slipped down the ladder into the familiar surroundings of the penguin HQ. Skipper was there, on the table, playing with some cards.
"Have fun tonight, Kowalski?" he asked coldly.
"I-I don't know what you mean." the tall penguin said, taking a seat beside his leader.
"I saw you two." Skipper's eyes narrowed.
"I-"
"Don't play games with me, man! She's my girlfriend!" Skipper raised his voice.
Private, who was watching all of this, whimpered and slipped beneath the covers.
"She said you broke up!"
"We just had a- a quarrel." Skipper insisted.
"But-"
"Goodnight, solider!"
"Skip-"
"I said GOODNIGHT!" Skipper yelled, and retreated to his bunk.
Kowalski shot him a glare and sat on the red couch. He flicked on the TV. He flipped through the channels. He got to the music channel at last.
"Silent Night…" sang the chorus on the television.
Kowalski closed his eyes.
"Holy Night…" the TV was faint now, his sleepiness overwhelming him.
"All is calm, all is bright." he mumbled, before falling asleep.
Okay, that's a wrap.
I don't know why I made this, because the ending really has no plot, and it's not even that good, but I like it.
This isn't really a songfic, it's more of something that has a song in it.
