Authoress Note: My friend the-doctor-amanda have been talking about Weinerham. I remember once of the conversations was of a headcanon of them sharing a bed every night. (And their parents are aware they sleep over at each others houses every night, but not knowing they share the same bed.). However I realized in that headcanon that means they couldn't have done that after the episode "Grave Puncher: The Movie" since they were grounded. So I thought of this idea.
Randy got into his bed. Unlike every other night though he was alone. Usually Howard slept over or he slept over at Howard's., but being grounded for sneaking out to see a midnight movie ruined that.
He hadn't slept alone for a long time. He wondered if it was possible anymore. Possible for him to sleep without cuddling someone.
He laid on his side and closed his eyes. He slowly let his breath decrease as he tried to fall asleep. It felt weird though with his arms just laying limp on the bed. He sighed and grabbed an extra pillow. He hugged it tightly, but it wasn't the same. No one was embracing him...
Half an hour later he decided it was no use. He needed Howard.
He pulled out his ninja mask and stared at it for a while. He was kind of hesitant, but he put it on. The room filled with red glowing light as he transformed into the ninja. He had a feeling he might feel guilty about this later.
He inhaled and exhaled before sneaking out.
Howard was having the same problem. He was tossing and turning trying to sleep without Randy.
"Darn it Cunningham, I can't sleep without you." Howard sighed to himself.
"Hey, Howard." Called a voice.
Howard looked startled. "C-Cunningham?"
He looked around. Was he just imaging Randy's voice?
"Sssp...the ceiling." Randy whispered. Howard looked up. The Ninja was on the ceiling above his bed.
"Cunningham, what are you doing here?" Howard asked. He sounded surprised and little bit angry. Randy climbed onto the wall then to Howard's bed.
"I can't sleep without you." Randy said as he took off his mask. Then he got under the covers with Howard.
"I can't sleep without you either, but..." Howard seemed nervous. "What if we get caught?"
"We won't." Randy said as he cuddled Howard close to him. "I'll ninja my way out in the morning."
Howard was relived now. He wrapped his arms around Randy tightly and cuddled with him.
"So you're going to do this until we're ungrounded?" Howard asked.
"Yep." Randy said. He started rubbing Howard's back gently. Howard made a happy sound.
"So wanna play Grave Puncher tomorrow?" Howard asked.
Randy frowned. "But we can't, remember?"
"We can play it over the internet, Cunningham." Howard pointed out.
"Right." Randy yawned. He was getting tired. And he was finally in a comfortable enough situation to sleep. "Being grounded is going to work out much better than I thought."
"Yeah." Howard agreed.
Randy kissed his forehead. "I love you."
"I know you do." Howard mumbled.
Randy laughed a bit. "Come on, I know you love me too."
"Whatever.." Howard grumbled as he held Randy close. Randy smiled. He knew that Howard loved him, even if he didn't say it.
They cuddled close and fell asleep, glad to be together.
