chapter 1 the call
Link's POV
The lyrics to Talking to myself by Lincoln park, sung into my ear disrupting my dream. I opened my eyes and grabbed my phone.
"Ello?" I muttered.
"Hey Link it's me Kafei."the person on the phone said.
" Okay, what do you want it is 3 in the morning. "
"I need you to come to Clocktown. Come to the museum of artifacts."
"Why?"
"No time to explain, bye."
"Wait wha-"
"Bye."
A clicking noise came from the phone showing me that kafei hung up on me.
I groaned and went back to sleep.
"Wake up sweetheart."
I opened my eyes to see my wife,Zelda, sitting beside me with a mug of coffee. I stood up and got dressed in a pair of khakis and a button down shirt. I put on my work boots.
"I got a call from a colleague of mine. I need to go to Clocktown." I told Zelda.
"At least have breakfast." Zelda said.
"I can't, Clocktown is five hours away from here by train. I have to be there at noon." I explained.
"Well you can say bye to the twins." Zelda said.
I left the bedroom and walked into the family room where my twins,sheik and tetra sat playing. I grabbed my workbag and put my coat on.
"Bye." I said kissing the twins on their forehead then kissing Zelda on the lips.
I bought my train ticket and boarded my train. Just as I got settled down my phone rang.
"Hello?" I answered.
"Hey Link where are you?"
"I am on my way."
Cool, how are you getting here?"
"Train."
"Bye."
I finally stepped off the train and made my way to the museum. Soon I found Kafei.
"Now what was so goddess damm important, that you had to tell me in person?!"
