I got bored and decided to post this. It's a one shot I wrote a while ago. It's real short but I like it, and hopefully you will too.
No one understands me. I'm just there to be different. I don't matter. No one cares what I think. They all think it will be stupid and have said it too, multiple times.
I wish that someone would notice me, not because I'm strange or popular, just for me. Everyone I know got noticed, but not me. Everyone else has a special someone, whether or not they'll admit it. A Someone who notices them and likes them for who they are. As for me, I'm just here stuck with a smile plastered on my face.
I know that I'll watch them all grow up and eventually they'll be together with their someone. If it's the one they have now I won't know until they get there.
As for me I'll probably just go from girl to girl until I die. There's no one out there for me. Maybe I'll be gay, someone suggested that to me once, but I don't know.
I'm just here yet to be noticed. Stuck with a smile plastered on my face as I watch all of my friends find love, find each other. They don't know how lucky they are. They usually call me lucky but I think they are. They don't see it. They never will. No matter what they face they have each other. They've proven this before too. I guess I have them too but for how long. How long before they take each other by the hand and leave, to go to the places reserved for couples. While I stay behind to rot. I guess I could tag along, but for how long. Soon they wouldn't want me there. They'd want to be alone.
"Odd?" Ulrich said poking his friend who had not talked in minutes and it was starting to scare him, especially since they were talking about food.
"What?" Odd asked broken from his trance.
"Are you okay?" Ulrich asked simply looking at him like he had two heads.
"Yeah. Why?" Odd said looking at him confused.
"You weren't… never mind." He said scratching his head. "Anyway we're all going to get ice-cream you coming or not."
"Are you kidding me?" Odd stood up and put his hands on his hips. "There's no way I wouldn't miss out on any type of food."
So I guess that I'm going to have to squeeze every moment of fun out of the time we have together.
"How about we see a movie afterwards? Oh and go to the arcade, and…"
