"What's with the glove

This is a little drabble I wrote, based on a true story. I was outside a Starbucks with some of my friends, and apparently everyone saw the bike on the ground but me. Yeah.

Anyway, transferring a bunch of fics from my fanfiction livejournal, www. thatnobodygrrl. livejournal. Com (remove the spaces). Anyway, please comment constructively!

"What's with the glove?" Axel asked. Roxas pulled it off gingerly, revealing a band-aid or two wrapped around each finger. The redhead gaped.

"Remember that day," Roxas began. "When we went out together with Sora and Riku, and I tripped over that bike outside the restaurant?" Axel nodded. How could he forget? One second Roxas had been walking next to him, and the next he was flying through the air, and smashing into the concrete. "Well," He continued, "I'm a total klutz, Axel. Shit like that happens to me all the time."

Axel laughed, though still a bit offset by the number of wrappings around the slim fingers.

"But you know, I've heard it said that having some kind of really obvious, laughable outward flaw makes a person more approachable." The blonde tossed out, trying to make the situation a little less awkward. Axel stepped forward, and cupped the younger boy's face in his hands.

"I wouldn't really call it a flaw…" He whispered gently. "It's sort of… endearing." He placed a soft kiss to Roxas' forehead, before taking a step back and blushing. His hands fell to his sides. Roxas took a step towards him…

and promptly fell flat on his face.

"Still endearing?" He asked playfully from where he lay in the dirt.

"Still endearing." Axel reassured with a chuckle.
