Prompt word: Wrist weights
Duration: Written out on 11.20am to 11.57am. LOL. Please excuse any plotholes. :)
Dedicated to: LIHAN again, my dear Sanada and Yukimura fan :)
Welcome Back!
Yukimura buchou was finally out of the hospital, and the Rikkai Regulars do so wanted to welcome him back with open arms.
If they still had arms.
To make up for their loss against Seigaku, Sanada had piled all sorts of weight trainings and PTs for the team. You should see Kirihara lifting weights; it wasn't very pleasing to the eye. It was also the first time in months Niou stopped teasing anybody.
After doing two thousand swings, Sanada made them wear another 5kg wrist weights on each wrist. Yes, the super amazing Rikkai is TIRED. Sweat poured off them like nobody's business. Even pore block don't work now.
When Yukimura met them at the Rikkai Gym, nobody could give a hug to their dear buchou they have been missing for months. He felt rather unloved.
And so, Yukimura set off to find Sanada, and give him a good talk.
He was in the locker room, somehow not sweating and not panting like a berserker. In fact, he was smelling quite fresh, like after a bath.
"Sanada," Yukimura had an effimate face since birth (He was mistaken as a girl), but everyone knows that woman's faces are the best for looking angry. However angry he looked, he couldn't help but remember his dear fuku-buchou. Oh yes, the good old days.
"Yukimura."
"How was the Regionals?" He knew the answer, the doctor told him. It turned out he was a really big fan of Yukimura, and owned a fansite on him. Peculiar.
"We lost." It was a blunt answer.
"And torturing your teammates...my teammates is a form of stress relief?"
"Yes." Truthful as ever, that Sanada.
"Its not about winning, it about having fun."
"Have you seen us lose? It's not fun."
"Losing would be painful, but not as painful as knowing there was something else you could've done. Could you have done anything else?" Yukimura tried.
"Perphaps, perphaps not." Sanada admitted. "Is there a way to counter a Tsubame Gaeshi?"
"Volley it back."
"If you didn't know it was a Tsubame Gaeshi, or a COOL Drive for that matter."
"You lose. That's that."
"I could have activated the Muga no Kyochi faster and beat that Echizen shrimp."
"What's done cannot be undone."
"It was Yagyuu right?"
"The quotebook? Yes. I spent a week reading it through."
Sanada nearly chuckled. "You're starting to sound like Shakespeare,"
"Not if I can help it." Yukimura smiled. "Good job on the teammates."
"Oh, I had lessons from Fuji. Its quite simple, really." Sanada grinned a true, rare grin and hugged his beloved buchou.
"Welcome back."
A/N: Wow. The fourth time I completed typing out the fanfiction in one day :O HAPPY :D Sanada was being slightly OOC here... I wonder why. Haha, the fastest one I produced out of the four. Okay, I don't really have a good ending line for this A/N, so I'll just end it with the cliched "REVIEW PLEASE" :D
A/N/A: Okay, to tell the truth. I really didn't like this story. FLAMERS WELCOME TOO :D
