Family gatherings where always something the Langston family looked forward to, especially know that Jacob was returned. They all loved having the little boy back in their lives, cracking jokes at every possible chance he got. But Lucille was probably the happiest to have her little boy back. She missed being able to baby someone, to spend time with someone who depended on her, who cuddled with her when she needed someone to cuddle with.

That evening, the Langston family where going to have their normal family gathering and with Maggie and Marty finally together, it would be the first time Marty would join them. But Marty had practically become family over the last year, so it was only a matter of time before he was invited to one. But like usual, he was late. He wasn't the only one that was late, Maggie and Fred where also running late as well, which left Lucille and Jacob sitting on the couch, watching cartoons. Jacob had his head resting in his mother's lap and he was lying on his side so he could see the television. Lucille was softly rubbing Jacob's back, lulling him to sleep. Right as he was about to fall asleep, Maggie softly knocked on the door and walked in. Lucille looked over, not wanting to move her son and smiled at her niece, who was like a daughter to her.

"Hey, honey," she said as Maggie walked over to her extended family. Maggie softly scooted Jacob closer to the edge of the couch and lay down behind him, also resting her head in Lucille's lap. Lucille was surprised, but she laughed at having both Jacob and Maggie laying their heads in her lap. "How are you, sweetie?" she asked as she moved a strand of hair out of Maggie's face.

"Good," Maggie replied as she moved so she was lying on her back and she was looking up at her aunt. She smiled happily up at her. She looked so much happier now that she was with Marty and Lucille was happy that her niece was happy.

"You look happy," Lucille said. "It's nice seeing you this happy," she added. Maggie smiled up at her aunt. She was happy, but she didn't realize it showed that much.

"Yeah, I am," she replied. "Is it that obvious?" she asked as she gave her aunt a skittish smile. Lucille laughed.

"Yeah, but it's cute," Lucille replied. It was as if the rest of the family knew that Maggie and Lucille where having a moment, because Fred and Marty came through the front door and Henry walked down the stairs. Fred and Marty just looked at the three of them with a confused expression. Henry had seen his wife and niece in this position plenty of times before, but never with Jacob in the mix as well. Jacob had long fallen asleep while Maggie and Lucille talked. Maggie, having lifted her head when she heard the front door open, looked at them as if everything was normal.

"What?" she asked, not sure why they where confused.

"How is that comfortable?" Marty asked, asking the question that was running through Henry and Fred's heads. Lucille and Maggie laughed.
"Jacob doesn't take up a lot of room, so it wasn't that hard to get comfortable," Maggie replied. She sat up on the couch, careful not to wake her cousin up. She stood up and then hugged her entire family. After she gave her uncle a hug, Henry walked to the couch and picked his son up and then brought him upstairs so they wouldn't wake him. The rest of the evening, the family spent well-deserved time together.
