"Your chains are still mine," The Phantom took the engagement ring and yanked the necklace from my neck. "You belong to me!" He hissed. He stepped back from me, taking the cape from his shoulder; he whipped it down and disappeared. I felt, aroused, I didn't want him to go, not without me. I wanted to go with him. Raoul ran by and jumped down into the hole my Angel disappeared through. I left the Grand Hall and ran to the Prima Donna's room. I went through the mirror and ran down remembering the way when I had the duet with my Angel on the way to his home by the lake. I came to the landing where the gondola was parked. It was still there. So I waited for my Angel. Soon I heard footsteps echo growing closer. I straightened up, looking forward to my angel. He came into view a blazing flame in the golden glow of the torches, we met eyes.
"Angel!" I called, running to him and hugging him tightly.
"Christine!" He called out, not expecting my bombardment.
"I'm sorry I betrayed you, my Angel, I'll never do it again, I promise." My Angel wrapped his arms around me.
"It's alright, mon ange." He cooed softly. I pulled back, looking into his blue eyes, tears of guilt slid down my cheeks, where my Angel wiped them away.
"Christine, do not cry. I am here." He cooed sweetly. I closed my eyes, and kissed my angel. He stood still for a few moments and then kissed me back, my breathe caught.
Yes I've always wanted this, why haven't I seen it though? I hooked my hand around his neck and slowly deepened the kiss which he did not refuse. He tangled his hand in my hair, and brought me closer to him. After all these years I had the joy I so craved for, and all I had to do was simply look to my angel.
