Happy Valentines Day everyone! Enjoy the Fluff!
The kitchen timer beeped and Misty got up. She walked to the kitchen and pulled a tray of perfect heart shaped chocolates out of the fridge. She wrapped them quickly and got dressed for the day. She wore her regular attire, a yellow outfit with red accents.
She left the gym hopeful and met Ash on a bench by their favorite resteraunt. She wasted no time handing him the chocolates. "I made them for you," She said, blushing and turning away slightly, "I hope you like them."
Ash blushed a bit, too. He pulled one of the little heart shaped chocolates and handed it to Pikachu, then grabbed one for himself. "Pika-Pikkkaaaa" Pikachu said distainfully. They were aparantly not to the liking of the little pokemon.
Ash chewed thoughtfully."Horrible?" He asked, understanding the pokemon. Not realizing he had made it sound more like a statement.
Misty stood up in fury and slapped him across the face, "Y-YOU JERK!" She exclaimed, running away. She didn't spend all yesterday making chocolate with her friends so she could be criticized that harshly by him of all people. She got back to the gym and hid off in one of the equipment closets. Her vision was soon blurry with tears.
Ash was more than confused. What just happened? He chose to run after her anyway and retraced his actions. He tried the chocolate. Listened to Pikachu. Questioned Pikachu. That was it! She misunderstood what he said! Now he felt horrible for that even passing his lips. He definitely had to fix this.
He got to the gym and burst through the doors. He saw one of her sisters, "Do you know where Misty is?" He asked quickly, his head whipping around to look everywhere. The sister pointed to a closet in the far corner and Ash quickly ran to it.
"Misty?" He asked gently, kneeling in front of the crying girl.
"GO AWAY, IDIOT!" She roared at him. He flinched and fell backwards.
"No." He said quietly, wiping away the tears on her cheeks. He leaned in slowly and kissed her softly on the lips. "I liked your chocolate." He said, popping another one into his mouth and standing up. He offered a hand to her and she took it. They both walked back to the resturaunt and enjoyed the rest of valentines day. As a couple.
