Chapter 1: The Akuma Yuki Kitsune

300 years ago a Demon Fox suddenly appeared. Eyes red as the rose, eye shadows black as ebony, fur whit as snow. It was a Snow Fox. The Yuki Kitsune. From its one tail, sprouted other. And then other and other. Nine tails it produced. Nine tails that showed how dangerous it was. Its tail lashing out, smashing mountains and sending tidal waves crashing to the shore. The Empire of Japan united its people and states to band together against this Demon Fox to defend their villages and their states.

"Hold the attack and wait for the Shogun!" Shouted a samurai soldier as he charged against this colossal demon.

"It's getting closer! Don't let it get near the village!" Shouted a wounded samurai. Many samurai charged at the demon, but of course they failed. Because of his colossal size and power, the Demon Snow Fox swatted them away like flies. But what was worse is that this demon was not a Demon Snow Fox for nothing. With a deep breath and letting out a booming war cry, he breathed ice. Its ice breath froze and destroyed anything it touched. A Winter Spirit of the most deadly class. Summoning a deadly winter with just a booming shout. Its Rage, Wrath, and Fury knew no bounds.

Many samurai died painfully and horribly in an attempt to bring this demon down. This Demon had destroyed many states and many villages that opposed it. Casualties were climbing fast and the only resistance left was the Dai Nippon Teikokuin Himeji. When the colossal demon approached the royal city, the citizens were in a panic. Yet one samurai warrior faced the Demon Snow Fox in mortal combat. He sacrificed to defeat the Beast. This samurai was known as the Third Emperor of Japan. Using special magical arts of the Heavens he blessed his own Katana sword and lunged forth towards the Beast. The task was tricky to preform, but with wits, tactics, and skills, the emperor impaled the demon in heart. Its roar of painful agony echoed throughout Japan. The battle was won, but at a grave cost. The emperor was wounded from the Demon's Winter Magic. He died soon after.

Injured and dying the Demon Fox changed size and quickly ran away to safety. But humanity wasn't going to let the dying fox get away. So they chanced after it. Bleeding and dying the Demon Snow Fox was cornered. He growled in hate and rage at the humans. They glared in hate and rage at the demon. Wishing nothing more than to end its life and revel in the sweet satisfaction of vengeance. The Demon Fox was on his own. No one would help it. Heaven hunted it. Hell hated it. All of creation cared not weather it lived or died. But before it's untimely end, the Fox smirked at the humans, and in a last resort changed into a Spirit and rode through the night. Leaving the humans shocked but also enraged at their unfulfilled vengeance.

In desperation it tried to find a place to recover. Its time was quickly fading and it was going to die quickly the more it was actively moving. But something caught its attention. He heard the cries of a woman. Quickly following the whimpering sounds through the forests he happened upon a small house in the woods, right by a large lake. Cherry blossom peddles falling from the trees and swaying in the wind. On the wooden porch, in a bedroom was a women no older than 30. She was curled up into a ball, hugging her knees and crying. This never interested the Demon Fox before. With one sniff of the crying woman he was able to know about this woman's life. Her husband was a samurai who died during a war. She was pregnant with their child, but upon hearing about her husband's death she became a widow and fell into a deep depression. This caused her to have a miscarriage. Upon being informed by a doctor, she became more depressed. She refused to eat or drink, longing for death to take her. There were attempts, but she couldn't do it. This intrigued the Fox, he could use this human female to hide and recover. Since it was in spirit form she wasn't able to see it. The fox then merged its own spirit with her body.

The women's name is Kyomi Rikuro. When she found out she was pregnant, she believed it was a gift from heaven. She blessed the heavens so much everyday for this second chance. Of course she didn't know that it wasn't a blessing from heaven. But she was determined to raise this new child. She ate, drank, and got plenty of sleep and exercise.

Then 9 months later she gave birth to a healthy baby boy. The demon fox's plan had worked. He was recovered and alive. But he was now reincarnated as a human. Using this human body to slowly recover his energy. He thought no one would find him. Kyomi cared and loved her newborn child. She named him Jakku Rikuro. The baby demon fox disguised as a human was shocked but also touched. He was never given a name before.

Throughout most of his life he began to experience human emotion. Playing like an adorable child. Laughter, happiness, and joy. But he also experienced pain and sadness. But all of that pain was instantly gone when he would always find himself in the warm loving embrace of his mother. The two loved each other very much.

Then, 10 years later, on a warm day in July. Jack's mother, after raising him on her own for most of his human life, remarried. To a man named Ryota Toukan. The wedding was small with only family and close friends. But she looked happy. Ryota was very kind to Jakku and Kyomi, like they were his own family. It was then Kyomi changed her family name to Toukan. Jakku Rikuro was now Jakku Toukan.

They were a very happy family and Kyomi even gave birth to a little baby girl. She wasn't the same as Jack, she was full human, but she was lovable. Her given name is Asami Toukan. Over the past 8 years, Jakku and Asami became very close. They played games together, hide and seek, tag, and racing. Whenever Asami would have nightmares she would cuddle in her big brother's arms for safety and comfort. The two were never separate.

That is until one fateful day

On a snowy winter day he and his sister were going out ice-skating.

"Be careful." Their mother said.

"We will." Jakku chuckled as his sister happily pulled on him.

What happened next was suspenseful and scary. Jakku's sister was stuck on cracking ice and Jakku was trying to calm her down.

"It's okay. Don't look down just look at me." Jakku calmly said to his sister.

"Jakku, I'm scared." She quivered. The ice began cracking more and more.

"I know." Jakku said. Trying to get close but more ice cracked. "But you're be alright. You're not gonna fall in." He reassured her. "Uh… we're gonna have a little fun instead."

"No, we're not!" She cried.

"Would I trick you?"

"Yes! You always play tricks!"

"Well…" He nervously chuckled. "Well not this time. I promise. I promise. You're gonna be fine. You have to believe me." She stared into her brother's eyes. "You wanna play a game? We're gonna play hopscotch. Like we play everyday. It's easy as one…" He stepped on the cracking. He then pretended to trip. This made her laugh. "Two…" He took another step. "Three!" He leaned down and picked up a hooked end stick, his signature staff. "Alright. Now it's your turn. One…" He says and she takes a step. "That's it! That's it! Two…" Aiming his staff and she took another. "Three!" He reached out and pulled her away. His sister stared smiling. He stood chuckling but then… he fell in.

"JAKKU!" She screamed. It was heart breaking. But before his life ended, he sees the moon shinning down on him. His hair turning snow white. He was being rescued by Tsukuyomi. This would only be the start of his next new life for next 300 years.
