Passenger Seat:
By: Juliet Taylor (HaruMichi)
Haruka grinned happily as she drove her car back home. She had just visited her father with a certain aqua haired, and he loved her. Of course he would. Who in their right mind wouldn't? They had spent the whole day talking, laughing, sharing stories with Michiru who did the same thing. She loved it, having the two most important people in her life, like each other was great.
She remembered the memories that her father had been sharing with Michiru. The time when she punched that boy for playing with her toy car, the time when she ran through the field for hours and hours, barley stopping, or the time when she played with pigs on the her uncle's farm. It had been fun, remember those hidden memories that had been sitting in the back of her mind. Forgotten.
But then she remembered when she had to go to the bathroom so she left her lover and her father to talk and while she going upstairs she noticed her old room was opened and entered it. It was filled with cars and motorcycles hanging up on the wall, while papers were scattered all over the room. One paper though caught her eye, and she picked it up. She read it and her eyes had widened, but then she smiled and placed that paper in the backside pocket of her pants and left to go the bathroom.
Haruka remembered that letter. She wrote it when she was 16, and she stated that one day she will find that perfect girl from her dreams to have and to hold till forever and ever on.
And her statement had come true, she thought, because that certain perfect dream girl was right there to her right. Rich aqua locks cascading down, like an enchanted waterfall glistening in the heat of the sun, gorgeous sapphire eyes that reflected of the deep blue sea, luscious irresistible lips that were the shade of the reddest rose, the face of the most beautiful angel that ever graced the world, the voice that made even the most talented singer want to die of embarrassment, and the perfection that even Aphrodite would surely envy.
And she was all hers and only hers. How did she get so lucky? She didn't even know. All that she knew was that God must've loved her for giving her his most valuable angel. She sighed as she stared back at the road. She didn't want to take her eyes off of her, but she knew she had to. Few moments passed and she just had to take one more look at the sea goddess. She grinned, she couldn't get enough of her.
"Ruka, pay attention to the road!" Michiru giggled.
"How can I when you're standing so close to me? God, I love you so much Koibito." Haruka replied lovingly.
"Ara and here I thought, the wind was your lover." Michiru teased, but inside she was actually melting. She just loved that blonde so much.
"Nope I don't care if the wind would leave as long as you're here with me." Haruka stated truthfully.
Michiru smiled and softly kissed Haruka on the cheek, and rested her head on Haruka's shoulder. Haruka smiled happily and continued driving in the comfortable silence.
What she said to Michiru was true. Let the winds run away, let the oceans run dry, let the light shine out, and darkness proceed, because she had all that she needed right here in the passenger seat.
