"Rigsby. Why don't you just ask me anyway. I promise not to do anything too horrible to you if you hurt my feelings."
"What's it like- being a father?"

"-I'm sorry, Jane. Shouldn't of asked. You're just one of the only people I know my age who's- was a father and-"
"Is."
"What?"
"Is. I am a father. You never stop being a father."
"Right, sorry. Sorry, I-"
"Being a father- it's the scariest, most wonderful thing on earth. If you're any sort of decent father, that is. Don't worry, Rigsby. You'll be a good father. You love easily, you strive to protect, and you have a decent sense of humor. All the makings of a good father."
"I- I hope so."
"You're not starting to doubt me now, are you?"
"Of course not."
