The day that Michelle and Alexis received their letter to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry was just like any other day. They took a walk in the park, and ate some instant raman for lunch before heading back to Michelle's house for training. Even during this last week of summer they were still bustling with work. Only on that day and after, would they realize how much they would have to take on that summer, and the rest of that year in fact.
It was nearly 2:00 when the owl swooped down upon the heads of the two girls' droping the letter on the ground in front of them
"Wha"? Michelle looked from Alexis to the letter as she picked it up and opened it. Alexis waited for her reaction.
"Oh Shit!" She exclaimed loudly, so loud in fact that it made a couple in front of them turn and stare.
"What is it"? Alexis asked prying the note from Michelle's hands.
"Dear Miss.Alexis Palmer and Michelle Dyer, blah blah blah blah blah" she read aloud. "All right! We're going to Hogwerts!" Alexis jumped up and punched the air.
"Hang on" Michelle grabed the note from her friend "Why? We're not witches?"
"Read it and see."
Michelle read for a few minutes and then looked back up at Alexis.
"They want us to be house guardians, or something like that."
"Huh"? Alexis gave her a questioning look.
"They are summoning four "Celestual City" guiardians to watch over the houses...something...something...you'll be the scout for Gryffindor...and...I'm Slytherin.... ..." Michelle squinted her eyes "Damn that's all I can Make out"
"Since when is Okinawa a Celestual City"? Alexis laughed
"They probably just picked any point on the globe that they could find" Michelle returned
"Or everone else turned them down."
The two girls leaned on eachother, gigglinglike schoolgirls.
"How are we supposed to get ther"? Alexis asked.
"Oh down here at the bottom, it says platform nine and three quarters."
"Whatever, lets get home, I need to get packed."
"Yeah" Michelel agreed and she followed Alexis running home.
