This is a story based upon a legendary Special Forces operative named Calista Shepard. When she was declared KIA in 2186CE, atop the Citadel in high earth orbit, nobody believed the official reports as she had survived so much in the past. The choices she made would define generations of soldiers who looked up at her accomplishments with awe. After growing up in the shadow of Captain Hannah Shepard, she had mighty big shoes to fill. However those shoes were quickly filled when the young Shepard saved the day on Elysium, a planet in the Attican Traverse in 2176CE. She single-handedly stopped a pirate invasion, funded by Batarian Extremists from the moon base on Torfan. As if that wasn't enough, she spear-headed the retaliation campaign in 2178CE on Torfan moon base-wiping out the entire population. Her achievements didn't stop there, as a short four and half years later she uncovered a sinister plot to eradicate all life in the galaxy. As a simple executive officer aboard the SSV Normandy, she didn't have the authority to do much about it, so she proved her worth and the Citadel Council made her the galaxies first human Spectre in 2183CE. As a recently promoted Spectre, she was called upon by Alliance Command to investigate the recent communications blackout of Luna base. She uncovered a rogue AI, and battalion's worth of armored exosuits. She assembled a team and in the midst of stopping the reapers, also halted a potential sequel to the Krogan rebellions of 700CE. During that fight the team encounter ex-spectre Saren Arterius, the Turian charged with undertaking this dastardly plot. The team sets off a nuke to destroy the cloned Krogan soldiers, rescuing a group of STG members in the process. Finally with enough information the team travels through the lost Mu Relay to the planet of Ilos where they hoped to have a final confrontation with Saren. Unfortunately he had other plans, activating a Prothean engineered miniature relay linked to the Citadel; he tried to open the citadel relay to release the Reapers waiting in dark space. Due to the strength of the combined galactic fleet, they managed to destroy Sovereign the Reaper Sentinel.
