TEXT DUMP OVER….OR IS IT?
212121212121212121212121212121212121=Sena (How do I make breaks?)
Habits are hard to break. And if the habit has been going on for quite a long time, it becomes harder to break.
Which is why Gaou, the most feared Lineman in all of Japan, groaned as he jogged past the local bakery.
Each morning, since he was…well, slightly smaller than he was now, he'd go to the bakery, and buy 5 donuts.
The first donut, he would eat on the way to school.
The second, he'd give to Marco, because Marco always had 'forgotten' to eat his breakfast.
The third he'd give to Kisaragi, as payment for coping the notes from the day before and passing them off to Gaou. Not that he couldn't take notes it was just…he didn't like to. And he wasn't so low as to bully someone to give them theirs. He paid Kisaragi. Granted , it was in a pastry format, he still repaid the effeminate man.
The fourth donut, which was always jelly filled, went to the small but fearsome manager of the Hakushu Dinosaurs, Maria, for making sure that Marco would be ready for practice later.
The final donut, which would have lasted until his final class, would be eaten when the dismissal bell rang.
This donut would be the best of the five. It would have extra frosting, a gooey, sweet, raspberry center, and the pastry itself would be oh so very light. And after a day of boring lectures, slow and unexciting essays, and no real physical activities, (P.E. was too mild for his taste), the pastry was a godsend.
…
…
…
Today, however, Goau did NOT have his pastries. He couldn't eat on the way to school, he couldn't pay Kisaragi, feed Marco, insure Marco would even show up for practice…and, Gaou would not have his perfect pastry snack.
…
Overall, this upset Gaou very much. Jogging to school was fine, he did that every day, but to jog without the bag of breaded sweets in his hand he felt…odd.
Today was a Monday.
And Gaou, the most feared lineman in all of Japan, was not happy.
…………
"It would seem he's late." Marco sipped his cola. Not the best thing to drink before practice, but, Maria wasn't on the field to stop him. She was out looking for Gaou.
"Its…not very beautiful…for him to not show up." Kisaragi said, glittering. 'Maybe glittering isn't the right word to use…'Marco thought. It's more like he's just…shining in the light. Like a reflector.'
"Weird."
"Did you say something Marco?" said the reflector of light.
"Oh no, not me. Just…thinking out loud..Hmm.." he checked the time on the score board. "He's over 25 minutes late today."
Kisaragi gave a very feminine sigh. "Oh, this is not beautiful at all. You said it as if he might do this…" he batted his lashes, "again." Marco shrugged, sipping his cola.
"I found him." The shock of her voice sent Marco reeling, coke sprayed from his lips. Kisaragi barley managed to dodge the onslaught of warm saliva and cola.
"Maria! Um, uh, GAOU!" Tossing his Cola, he began asking a hail of questions. Kisaragi just caught the drink and sighed heavily, interrupting Maria and Marco's banter.
"Gaou, that wasn't a very beautiful thing to do. Please, don't do it again." The giant just nodded and went to take his place on the line.
"So…he's fine?" Marco looked to his lineman, the question hung in the air.
"He was just hungry." Maria said, shooing him back to field. "We're having a rundown of the stats for the scrimmage this weekend with the Alexanders. Gaou and Kisaragi need to come." Marco nodded, donning his helmet.
"He'll be there." Walking away, he joined his teammates, knowing that the outcome of the game had been decided long before it began.
