BtVS/Stargate Atlantis

I own nothing except the computer this is typed on and a slightly strange mind. Spelling is British.

This is just a silly drabble that occurred to me while I was trying (and failing) to write the next chapters of my two WIPs. I will update them. I promise!

"Oh, crap!" she said as she noticed that the robed demon was chanting something. Quickly decapitating the minion in front of her, she started towards him. Before she got there, however, a pink swirling portal opened to one side and she felt a familiar tug pulling her towards it. She just had time to throw her axe, neatly bisecting the figure in front of her, before she was sucked through.

She was feeling a little disorientated when she landed on the other side and it took her a few moments to regain her balance before she noticed she was surrounded by people in military uniforms pointing guns at her.

"Oops," she said, smiling sweetly at them. "I think I took a wrong turning somewhere. Not to worry, I'll be out of your hair shortly." She pulled out her cell phone.

"Um, miss," a cute looking brown haired man said, tentatively, "I don't think a cell is going to help you, we are a little out of range of any …" He trailed off as she spoke brightly into the phone.

"Hey, Wills. I need a track and retrieve." She paused a moment. "Duh, me silly!" there was another brief pause before she concluded "OK, see you in a few." She looked back up at the man who spoke before. "Wills is on her way, sorry about this." She looked brightly around at her surroundings. "Nice place you have here. Very non-sterile for army types."

"I'm Air Force, actually. Sorry, but who are you, and how did you get here?"

"Buffy and it was kind of a wrong turning, like I said." She winced slightly, "Those alarms are sort of annoying, does that happen all the time or is that just because of me?" A small vortex started to form next to her and she smiled. "That's my ride, I'll be out of your way in just a moment."

The vortex grew and a red-haired woman stepped out of it and looked around in interest. "Ooh! This is cool," she said. "I've always been interested in Atlantis, I never realised it was in another galaxy though! It's not terribly under-watery if you don't mind me saying so."

"Hey, Wills!"

"Hey, Buff. Ready to go?"

"Yep." Buffy turned back to the Air Force officer. "You're kind of cute. Next time you are in Cleveland, look me up – but no guns, I don't like them." She turned back to the red head. "Let's book." And the two women calmly stepped through the vortex, which promptly disappeared.

There was a few moments silence, then, "Did she just say Cleveland?"
