Well I couldn't tell you

Why she felt that way

She felt it everyday.

Someone made a mistake. Faith wasn't supposed to be a slayer. Her past had damaged her too much. After her watcher was killed she seemed reckless. I don't know if I could have helped her at all. To me, the damage had already been done.

And I couldn't help her

I just watched her make

The same mistakes again

He came out of nowhere I guess. I saw the stake plunge into him with a look of horror on my face. She looked surprised, but didn't seem to feel bad about it. Everything just started spinning off in the wrong direction from that point. She felt no remorse. And that was it.

What's wrong, what's wrong now?

Too many, too many problems.

Don't know where she belongs,

Where she belongs.

We all tried to help her. Nothing worked. It seemed as though she couldn't decide what side to be on. Being good was just too hard for her apparently, there were too many things happening at once. That led her to the Mayor. The side of evil. He showed her everything she had ever wanted. Most importantly he showed her love. He was like a father to her, and Faith just couldn't let that slip away.

She wants to go home

But nobody's home

That's where she lies

Broken inside

With no place to go

No place to go

To dry her eyes

Broken inside

I had said I wanted to fight her. We both knew one of us was going to die that night. I didn't care. Angel needed my help, and after all the things she had done to me and the ones I loved, Faith was too far gone.

"You did it. ... You killed me. ... Still won't help your boy, though.

Shoulda been there, B, quite a ride."

Open your eyes

And look outside

Find the reasons why

You've been rejected

And now you can't find

What you've left behind

She came back. After her coma. Apparently not looking for friendship. Although it is a little disappointing, to see that after all the trouble someone went through to kill you for someone else, they're not even with that person any more. Guess she got angry. The Mayor left her something, and she used it. I couldn't believe that she switched our bodies. She wanted my life, and she got it. Unfortunately, I was stuck with hers, and the council wanted her gone.

Be strong, be strong now

Too many, too many problems

Don't know where she belongs

Where she belongs.

There was that final battle, at the church. She had already slept with my boyfriend in my body, and I was pissed off about that. After we had killed the vamps, we got into a little duel. It ended with her punching me in her body. I couldn't tell though. Was what she was saying meant for me? Or herself?

"Shut up. Do you think I'm afraid of you? You're nothing! Disgusting! Murderous bitch! You're nothing! You're disgusting!"

Her feelings she hides

Her dreams she can't find

She's losing her mind

She's falling behind

She ran off to Angel in LA after we switched back. I went up there. Angel had already forgiven Faith. He had said that she changed. What the hell was going on?! She's a murderer! She came back and tortured Wesley. Then her and Angel fought until they both fell out a window. The duel ended with Faith begging for death.

She can't find her place

She's losing her faith

She's falling from grace

She's all over the place

We ran from the council. Fighting on the roof top. She disappeared, and we found her at the police station. She had turned herself in. She must have felt she needed to change. I don't think she can change. I had not forgiven her. I still haven't.

She's lost inside, lost inside

She's lost inside, lost inside

Okay, this is my first song fic, and first fic on this site... so it's sort of a practice fiction. I know it might not be that good, but reviews on how to make it better would be nice for future fiction. Thanks. :)
