She missed watching the weather news today, and did not expect that tonight was raining cats and dogs. Misaki was cursing the sky, as she was waiting for a bus ride home. When suddenly someone caught her eyes. He was soaking and standing in a corner of the street near from where Misa was sitting. The guy seemed he was hesitating if he will continue to go out of the corner and get soaked again. Misaki could make out that he was shivering like a wet puppy. The Seika high school president was also hesitant if she was going to take him out from that corner or just let him be.

At the end, she let her instinct took over and went to him. She tilted the umbrella to cover his already wet hair and stood in front of him. He was a bit surprise when he looked up and saw Misaki standing there.

"Pres. what are you doing here?" It was Usui Takumi asked, a surprised looked was visible on his face.

"I should be the one asking you that question. Why are you here? And you are… soaking wet." A voice full of concern could be heard on Misa's question.

"I just missed the weather forecast today... Hmm…seems like Ms. Ayuzawa was stalking me" He chuckles though his voice was trembling, Usui still manage to pull a joke.

"Of course not. Baka! I was going home when I suddenly saw you here."

Misaki paused from talking, afraid that Usui will tease her again. "Urhmm… Usui if it's alright with you, I—I can walk you home you know." She blushed at her own kind suggestion.

Takumi seemed surprised again by Misa's sudden statement. Usually after he teases her, the grumpy President gets angry and just left him. But now she offered to walk him home? Yet he contained his thoughts instead he said,

"If it's not a bother to you. I would love to, Misa-chan."

"No it's not. Let's go then. You're soaked, you might catch a cold if we stay longer in here."

His cold trembling hand held Misa's own and they walked hand and hand in that cold rainy night. Takumi's apartment was reached from just a few minutes of walking. It was still raining hard outside so Usui made some hot tea for them after he changes some warmer clothing. While Misaki just sat there on his sofa and watch the rain outside the glass window.

Usui came back with two cups of hot tea in his hands. He left Misa again then went to his bedroom. In one of his drawers, he took out a comforter and went back to Misaki. He wrapped it to her and slid in it too as he settled next to her.

"Maybe you should call your mom and told her where you are right now, 'cause she might get worried."

"Un!" Misa nodded and pulled out her phone and made a call.

Telling her mom that she couldn't go home tonight because of the bad weather. She couldn't tell a lie when her mom asked her where she was staying over.

"Uhm… I—I was at Usui's apartment."

"Misa-chan can you give him your phone please? I have something to say to him."

Misaki handed the phone to Takumi then the two of them talked. He asked if it's okay for Misa to be there with him.

"Oh sure Takumi-kun. The two of you just behave okay?"

He just laughed at what Misa's mom told him and promised that he will be a good boy. And suddenly scratch his un-ichy head when Misa cast death-glare at him. Right after the call ended, Usui suddenly pulled Misaki, causing her to sit on his lap and hugged her tight.

"By the way, thank you Misa-chan for saving me from the rain." He said softly.

"Uhmm….Y-Your welcome Takumi." Her face redded.

He just smiled and they stay like that for the rest of the night until the two of them fell asleep.
