Chapter one: Leo

Ella's POV:

Let's just start this by saying monsters and Oklahoma girls don't mix! Especially when it's somebody that you have been enemies since elementary school! You know those situations when you tell somebody, "She so stuffs her bra!" and then somebody tells her and you're stuck with an enemy for the rest of your school career. I actually think she didn't like me before either. She's just a total bitch that hates my guts.

Long story short, she got scary wings and claws to kill me, but then some stranger on a flying horse saved me. Now my arms are wrapped around the waist of a guy I just met. Really awkward since I think he is sorta cute. Ever since that Pegasus landed behind the school, my heart has been beating a mile a minute! Well, it already was, but a hot guy added to that mess made it even worse. He had brown hair and eyes. Nothing really special, but somehow I just had a need to be with him.

But, of course he probably doesn't feel the same about me; no crushes ever do. Gosh, I've never even had a boyfriend! That may be embarrassing to most 14 year olds, but not me. People have asked, they're just not who I want to be asking. Maybe I'll find the right one at this camp I'm going to.

"You're going to like camp half-blood."

"What exactly is it? Why am I going? And does my dad know?"

"Camp Half-Blood is a place for demi-gods to learn how to live and fight. You are going because one of your parents, who I'm guessing is your mom, is a Goddess. Like in Greek mythology, but they're not really myths. They're true. And I'm pretty sure Chiron will contact your dad." Wait Gods and Goddesses! Is he insane?

"Why didn't my dad tell me about this?"

"Because knowing attracts more monsters."

"So why did you tell me? Isn't that going to just make things worse?"

He shrugs.

"So who is my godly parent?"

"You'll find out soon! But its probably Aphrodite."

"Who's Aphrodite?"

"Goddess of love and beauty."

"Oh…" My face turns bright red and it gets super quiet. I eventually decide to go to sleep on his shoulder. Almost a sleep I realize I never learned his name.

"Hey, what's your name?"

"Leo." He smiles. "What's yours?"

"Ella."

And then I fell asleep on his shoulder.

Note: I hope you like my BRAND NEW story! I have tons of Leo story Ideas, but I decided to do this one first. I might start one that is kinda anti this story. Where Leo is a PLAYA! Haha Anywho! Like it? Hate it? Review please!
