Chocolate Cupcake

It was Hiyoshi's birthday, December fifth, but of course nobody remembered. Nobody except for himself, that is. He walked around school all day, hoping at least one person would say 'Happy Birthday!' to him, but no. He was forgotten like the gum on the underside of a desk.
Eventually he got desperate enough to randomly walk up to Choutarou and ask, "Is there anything special about today?" Of course, if there was somebody who was most likely to remember his birthday it would be the kind doubles player. Though, the only answer he got was a thoughtful 'hm... no' before they had to split up to go to their respective classes.
The day continued on, the last bell ringing, followed by a slow tennis practice, and eventually his walk home. On the way home he walked past a bakery with the smell of all sorts of donuts, breads, and other various snacks inside. Unable to resist, he walked in.
Since Hiyoshi was a regular of the shop, the baker behind the counter called out to him. "Hey, cupcake head! Want the usual?"
"Yeah. It's still 350 yen, right?" His question got him a nod from the baker, who was pulling out a rather large chocolate cupcake from the display case. Eventually the Enbu tennis player had pulled out the correct change and set it out on the counter before grabbing the cupcake with a small "Thanks."
If there was anything Hiyoshi loved more than himself, it was a good chocolate cupcake.
After all, what's wrong with getting yourself a birthday present?

A/N: Okay, not very funny, but whatever. Hiyoshi's head doesn't look like just a mushroom, it also looks like a cupcake, so he now likes cupcakes. The prompt that I got for this was HiyoshiHiyoshi with the word cupcake. So, yeah...
