Hi. This story is not mine. It was written for me by a nine year old at the school where I work. I needed Guy to translate it as only every third word was spelt correctly and I added in some punctuation, but the idea was his alone and written in his own time. I have posted it here as I think feel his hard work deserves recognition.

Please leave reviews, and I shall read them to Guy. Thank you.

LOTR doesn't belong to me or Guy, but it has inspired one boy who stuggles with reading, to write.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

by Guy

They went for a walk in the woods. Then they saw something in the woods. Aragorn and the wizard said, 'Hey what's that?'
'It's a dagger.'
'Oh, What is it doing there?'
'I don't know.'
Then Legolas picked it up. 'Hey that means they're here. Oh no!'
'Hey look out! There's an orc behind you.' said Legolas.
Then Aragorn chopped the orc's head off.
Gandalf said, 'eeeewww!.'
Then all the orcs ganged up on them. Then they killed all of the orcs, then they jumped on the horses and went in the woods of the dead. The orcs went to chase to attack them but they ran in the cave.
'Come on.' said the wizard.
'Oh no!' said Gandalf.
'There's some orcs in here.' said Aragorn.
Then Legolas got his bow and arrow out, then his ten arrows out and he shot ten orcs.
'Now they are dead.'
Then they carried on. Then they saw a four eyed monster. Then they killed the monster. Then they carried on.
'Finally.' said Aragorn.

The End

"True Magic is done with the mind and the spirit. Chants and potions are just a way to focus the magic, but they will not work without the magic of your spirit. Every wizard that you may encounter has a vast imagination, and a mind that can fly free. You still have that great gift. When you go home, you can use your imagination to see this world and us. Your mind is free from all bounds. You can travel anywhere, meet anyone and do anything, all within your mind. That is the first gateway to magic." - Nala, Wizard of T'Tenneb.
