"Thoughts of Y.O.U."

Hello and welcome to " Thoughts of Y.O.U.". Please enjoy. BTW : This is a one-shot poem I just barely came up with. Warning: Poem may be revised, again.

I sat on my slide.

The wind so breezy, I could glide.

Then I felt a tide.

A tide that caused me to stride.

I fell in my pool,

Wondering if I caused myself to drool.

Take me for a fool.

What I saw was so very cool.

Every time I see him,

He makes my day feel less grim.

His eyes are not dim.

No. They are blue to the rim.

Also, his feathers are shiny,

Though his paranoia tends to be whiny.

He can shake his hinny,

Plus, the water he drinks is briny.

Seriously. It is salty water.

It reminded me of my brother, Walter

Who invited me to his alter

Then later forced me to wear a halter.

But that is another story.

One that is not filled with glory.

Much like my Aunt Dory,

Who keeps talking about my cousin, Yuri.

Any who. To Skipper, away.

For he will eventually brighten my day.

Everyday, volleyball we shall play.

Oh, my, gosh. I feel so gay.

No, not exactly that way.

I mean, I feel happy.

I know, people think I am sappy

But I get it from my pappy

Whose nickname was once Clappy.

Well, I have to go, for now.

I have got to watch Skipper… Kapow!

Did I mention he's wow?

Uh-oh. I just heard him yell 'ow'.

I hope he is fine.

Otherwise, that penguin, Rico, is all mine.

He will walk the line

Then I will ask Skipper to dine.

Oh. There he is, coming.

I could easily hear his distant humming.

Now, my teeth are gumming.

I could even feel my brain numbing.

How should I say this?

Will I even get a single kiss?

Or will he just diss?

I better think, because there he is.

Strangely, I felt myself amiss,

Looking straight into his sapphire blue eyes.

Suddenly, he kissed me. Surprise.

I felt my heartbeat take a rise.

Then I felt some butterflies.

What was I doing here, again for?

Right. I wanted to play volleyball more.

But to break Skipper's score,

I must be tough like a boar.

Well, see you later. Bye.

By the way, I do not spy.

However, I do say hi.

Well, I have got to go fly.

Marlene's father's nickname was Clappy? LOL. Anyway. Thank-you for reading this.
