Hi…….I is Chinami. This is my character's story
Chapter one
It was an early August morn (don't ask) and a small infant in a basket was found on the beach by an elderly lady. Her name was Chitose.
Chitose: what in the world! Poor child. (A bit of annoyance in her voice) it's a good thing I found you or you would have been fire food. (She chuckled to her own joke)
The little girl cocked her head as if to ask "what fire! There's a five! Where!?"
Chitose noticed this.
Chitose: if you must know little girl (the small girl flinched at being called "little")
A horrible fire is blazing through the forest, burning anything in its way. We grabbed everything we could.
Chitose was now staring out at sea. Than she remembered,
Chitose: ooh yeah. I'm here with my daughter and her husband. Their son's name is Chichiri.
With that a small boy, no older than three, who strongly resembles a fox, peers around his grandmother and inquires (when did I get fancy) "what is it?" (I feel so loved)
Chitose: it's a little girl, Chichiri. (She exclaimed happily)
Chichiri: but grandmother she has blue hair!
"Chichiri, Chichiri!!" a frantic voice was calling though the early morning mist.
Chitose: he's over here!
Chichiri's Mother: Mother! Thank goodness!! Ooh, Chichiri!! Your both safe.
(After an award silence)
Chichiri's Mother: so...umm…mother what is that in your hands?
Chichiri: it's a little girl with blue hair!!
(Ignoring her grandson, Chitose answers)
Chitose: it's a little girl! Just what you've always wanted!
(Chichiri is stamping his foot and glaring at his grandmother)
Chichiri's Mother: what should we name her darling. (Chichiri's father had just showed up) Now everyone is standing around thinking for a good name. Suddenly Chitose's eyes light up.
Chitose: I know! She from the sea and she's a girl. What about Chinami!!
Everyone: Brilliant!! (They probably didn't say "brilliant" since we're talking about ancient China here, but anyway, BACK TO THE STORY) In the distance there was a little boy about Chichiri's age calling "Chichiwi!! Chichiwi!!" Everyone turned around to discover a little boy and his family. The kid's name was Tasuki and he and his family had been friends of Chitose's family for many generations. Chichiri's family smiled and waved, but than Chitose noticed that they also had a little girl in their arms, only she had flaming dark red, yellow and orange hair with a gorgeous pair of white wolf ears atop her head. She had emerald green eyes unlike Chinami's deep purple ones. Both families were stunned.

ps if anyone knows Chichiri's mom's name please tell me!! (In Nashiki's version, we need Tasuki's mom's name too)
