Special thanks to my friend who'll go unnamed for inspiring the idea of the story.

He found her sitting by herself at the table in the middle of the park.

Seeing her with a pen placed on her lips, and a finger twirling her hair made him smile.

"Why can't you be less troublesome like you are now more often?"

She smiled. "Then you would think that someone kidnapped the real me and took my place."

Shikamaru chuckled. "Maybe it would be an improvement."

The remark earned him a smack in the head.

He rubbed the back of his head. "So what's making you so peaceful?"

Temari looked at him. "A crossword."

"Are you that bored?"

She rolled her eyes. "I like doing these. Helps me to keep my mind from becoming lazy, like yours."

"Haha," he replied sarcastically.

She looked back down at the puzzle. An aggravated sigh escaping her lips.

"Except that these last two words are driving me mad."

Shikamaru smirked. "Let me see."

She slid it over and read the clues aloud.

"The one going down is meant to involve sleeping, lack of hardship, and lying around."

She looked at him. "Unfortunately for me, 'Shikamaru' doesn't fit."

He laughed. "Gee, thanks."

She grinned. "Any time."

The lazy one smiled. "What about the other one?"

"Fidelity, compassion, devotion, and fervour."

"I take it you don't even understand the words." Shikamaru put a hand to his chin, still smiling.

"Shut up."

He got out of his seat, and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Slowly, he began walking away.

"What, you don't know either?" Temari said, attempting to retort.

"Of course I do," Shikamaru replied. "One is something you need to do more often, and the other is something I need to show you more often."

"And what are they?"

He gave one last smile, and continued to walk.

"To relax, and to love."

End.
