Listen To Me

[One-shot Intro]

"Damn it, wake up! Uchiha Sasuke … Do you hear me?! Wake up!! I'm supposed to kill you. So come on! Stand up!!! Open your eyes. Don't die. You can't die. You're not allowed to die like this."

"F*cking wake up already!!!!"

Feeling useless like she was 12 again, Sakura continuously pumped chakra from her hand. Knowing it was tedious. He was no longer breathing. His heart stopped. Blood seeping from the wounds on his tattered body.

Uchiha Sasuke was dead.

"Sasuke!!!!" Continuously pounding his chest, she roared in frustration.

Her eyes blotched red, covering up the pureness of her emerald orbs. The destructive site from the previous battle added the agony air to the scene.

"UCHIHA SASUKE!!" Grabbing his collar, she shook his lifeless body. "You prick. What happened to your ridiculous pride? You can't lose to that freak." Thinking this would riled him awake.

Destitution filled her mind. He wasn't opening his eyes. No matter how much she screamed. No matter how much chakra was wasted flowing into his body. Uselessly healing his broken ribs. The internal organ damages was repaired.

But.

Where is that heart beat?

Why is it not beating like it suppose to?

Thump. Thump.

Like that.

Why isn't his heat beat like that?

No.

Please.

"SASUKE. Wake up!"

She refused to believe he was dead. Because he is not.

His body is warm.

She'll embrace him in her arms until he wake up.

Yes.

That is what she will do.

[...]

The wind picked up, carrying the decaying leaf across the open field. The stench of blood tainted the air with a foul odor. Slowly, as the shadows faded, the sun was disappearing behind the mountains.

How long has it been?

Not long enough.

"Sakura."

No one is allowed to disturb them. Their moment.

"Sakura. Please."

She finally saw him again, after all these years.

"Don't be like that."

Lackluster green orbs looked up. Meeting the sympathy gazes of her comrades. Sai. Lee. Kiba. And there was her ex-sensei.

"Leave him be. You're going to drain out your own chakra Sakura."

"I can't." Her voice was coarse. "Kakashi sensei. I didn't get to kill him."

"..."

He's not going to die like this.

I won't let him.

Gah. Continue? My style? Not sure. But it's fun. Well not really writing this genre of story.

The next update will be the remaining main story. My first attempt at one shot.

Don't yell. HIYA is partially done. I'll finished it tomorrow. XD
