"Is there anybody out there? Can anybody hear me?"
The voice came loud & clear. Rose rolled over to look at Jack
"Jack, there's a boat. Were saved!" she told him gently
"G.....g.....go find away to attract their attention" Jack replied, his teeth chattering
"Oh, of course Jack, there's a whistle over there, you climb on to the plank" she told him as she slid into the water
Jack was right, it is like a thousand knives stabbing you all at once she thought as her body hit the ice cold water
Jack climbed upon the plank as fast as he could while Rose swam over to the whistle
She blew & blew, not stoping till the boat was right next to her
They helped her up and she spoke quickly to them "There's a man, he's alive, over there on that plank"
They went over to Jack & Rose smiled
"Were alive" she told him, as they sat next to each other, wrapped in blankets
"Of course we are" he replied, and then kissed her gently on the lips
When they broke apart, Rose held his hand
"Never let go" she said as they both fell into a deep, dreamless sleep
"Rose, wake up, were here" Jack cried, shaking her awake
Rose got up and looked to see where Jack meant by 'here'
It was a ship, not as grand as the Titanic, called the Carpathia
Once they were aboard, they began to search the ship for Fa***** & the others, but they had no luck
Jack sighed and sat down
"I'm so sorry Jack" said Rose as she sat next to him
He looked her in the eye "I'll be fine" he replied "I have you, remember?"
Rose smiled & kissed him
"Maybe we just haven't found them yet" said Rose as she put her hands in the coat pocket
All of a sudden, she felt something hard
She pulled it out and she & Jack looked at it in awe
"Whoa" breathed Jack as he stared at the beautiful necklace
"We could sell it and make some money out of it" suggested Rose as she looked at the enormous diamond
"Check the other pocket" said Jack "I don't think that's the only thing Cal would have tried to save"
Rose dug her hand into the other pocket & pulled out a large wad of cash
Jack whistled "I think that might last us a while"
Rose nodded
Jack looked at her "But even if we had none of this, at least we'll always have each other"
Rose put the diamond necklace & the money back into the pockets & kissed him
Moments after they broke apart, a man came up to them
"Name's please" he told them briskly
"Jack Dawson" said Jack "and this is......"
"Rose Dawson" said Rose
The man nodded and wrote them down
Jack looked at her in shock
"Remember, you jump, I jump" she told him
Jack smiled and kissed her again
That night, they both looked at the stars thinking that wherever they are in the world, they would always have each other
And neither of them would ever let go
