A Tribe Story
Background: Takes a month after Eagle Mountain, Zandra is the only one that died. The Mallrats are now trying to give the antidote and have order in the city. But with the new comer Danni to the Mall, the tribe threats to split in hafe. Who will the tribe look to when the true brings of Power and Chaos come looking for the divine child and her mother?
‟I still don't think what the two of them did was right?"Salene said sitting next to Amber and Trudy. ‟What who did?" ‟Danni and Bray told Lex that there was no more of the antidote left, when they were using it to see what it was made of ." ‟In other words they were going to let him die." the three looked to see Ebony standing at the top of the stairs. ‟I really don't think that Bray would really do that." ‟Face it Trudy, Bray never did like Lex, he always did stand in the way." ‟How do you know that for sure?" Amber asked standing up, ‟You really have no idea what has been going on do you?" ‟What do you mean Ebony?" ‟While you have been on the Farm resting, the new girl has been trying to take your place in more was than when in one." The braided beauty said sitting at the table. ‟Ebony I really don't think that." ‟Look I'm just trying to give you a warning, while you have been resting at the farm because of the baby, Danni is trying to take over and jump in Bray's bed." ‟Why are you telling me this?" ‟The truth is I rather have you as a leader than her." ‟Oh, should I thank you." ‟I'm just saying Bray probably can't help it, he is doing what he thinks is best and not seeing what she really wants." ‟What else has been going on?" ‟Nothing." ‟Trudy, I know you are trying to hid something." ‟She is always trying to spend time with him calmin it is to help this new world she is so fixed on." ‟And always gets upset when he say he is busy." Salene added. ‟She just wants control, she and Bray voted Lex out being leader, because of his drinking." ‟Ok what's so wrong with that part?" ‟She just him out for power, I don't like her." ‟ I think that the only thing that we can do is wait and see." ‟I have a better idea." ‟And what would that be Ebony?" ‟Meet me in my room in ten." Ebony said walking down the stairs. ‟So are you back for good?" ‟Yeah I think that I had enough rest." After the explosion Amber had been told by Dal that she needed to take it easy for the sake of her and Bray's baby. ‟So are you really going to believe Ebony?" I really don't think that I have a choice."
Patsy and Cloe sat on the stairs watching the Salene and Ryan hand out the formal, ‟Do you think it was wrong for us to take the jewelry." ‟No, they gave it to us because they were grateful of us giving them the antidote." Patsy said petting Bob. ‟Girls why don't you see if you Tai-san or Trudy needs help." Salene called up, ‟Actually we were going to help Dal at the Farm." Cloe said shooting up walking over to Jack's workshop. ‟They were in a hurry." ‟I'm just glad that they are helping out." Salene said as she filled the cups.
‟Danni, have you seen Bray?" Jack asked coming into her room. ‟He went off with Tai-san." she spat not looking up from her notebook. ‟Hey Jack. Can I ask you something?" ‟Yeah?" ‟Would you mind if used your computer?" ‟For what?" ‟To type up the Bill of Rights that I am working on." ‟Like a set of rules?" ‟Yeah." ‟We could use some more rules, Did you put anything about stealing in there." ‟Why?" ‟Some of my things have just been going missing, anyway you can use it whenever you want to." Jack said turning around to leave. ‟Where are you going?" ‟I am going to go work on some more about the virus." ‟You are still on about that?" ‟Yeah I am, he said walking out.
Amber sat in her room thinking about what Ebony had said, she had yet to meet the new girl called Danni, but for some reason she felt that there was some truth to what Ebony and the other girls had said. Another part of her was worried about Bray, what if he had fallen for this new girl and wanted nothing to do with Amber or the baby. But she quickly pushed that thought to the back of her mind. She was sure that Bray was in love with her and she knew that Bray was thrilled to have this baby. ‟Hey, I didn't know that you were back yet. Why didn't you tell me that you were back?" ‟Salene said that you were busy helping with the Antidote." Amber said looking up at Bray who was making his way toward the bed. ‟You should have gotten me?" He said sitting on the bed. ‟You were busy, plus I was catching up with the girls, Dal said it was safe for me now that the virus was under control." ‟Well I'm glad that you are back." he said leaning in and giving her a kiss.
As morning came to the Mall, the Mallrats were quickly coming to breakfast. ‟So, are you going to tell everyone?" Ebony asked walking over to Amber who sat at one of the tables alone. ‟I'm still not so sure what you can gain from this." ‟What makes you think that I am only in it for me." ‟Because that is how it has always been." ‟I did save you, didn't I and there was nothing in it for you." ‟Ebony I believe that you are trying to change, but it is going to taka time for the others to see that and believe it. But what you are asking me to do can change this tribe." ‟But you are the only one that the tribe will follow without question. You cannot let some else come in her and take over what you have worked so hard for. You can do this." Ebony said putting a hand on Amber's shoulder. Amber took a minute to think about everything that Ebony had said, she did have a point and for some reason Amber believed everything that she had to say. ‟Ok, during the meeting today." Amber said moving over to give Ebony room.
After everyone was done eating and cleaned up they gathered around the cafe waiting from the meeting to start. ‟Ok there are some things that need to be taking care of, first of all is an upcoming birthday." Amber said with a smile as she looked to Cloe who was sitting next to Bray and Danni. ‟Another thing that I think needs to be addressed is.." ‟The Bill of Rights." Danni said standing next up and walking up to where Amber stood. ‟This is the time to make the city better." ‟But why follow in the steps of the Adults, look what happened to them." Tai-san added. ‟But this is a step into getting power." ‟Something you seem all about." ‟Like you one to talk about Ebony." ‟Ebony and Tai-san have a point, who says that it is fair that one tribe gets to desided what happens to who." ‟Ok, enough! Lets get on with the meeting and about the Bill of Rights, I'll look it over then we'll talk about it." Bray added after seeing Danni crestfallen face. ‟Ok, there is one last thing to go over, from what I have heard we are having some unrest and I think that it would be good to bring in more support especially once I have this baby, I am going to be needing some help that is why I am having Ebony starting the militia and Lex be head of security." ‟Finally some order." ‟Amber you can't be serious." ‟Look who better to help protect us then her, and I belive that she has proven herself as well as Lex." Amber said walking away from Danni and toward Ebony and Lex's table as well as Tai-san. ‟She will have us all killed the first chance that she gets." ‟I think that we should have a meeting with the other leaders to start planning a better future. I think that all the other tribes are as sick of fighting as us." Bray said standing up and trying to stop the fight before it even starts. ‟Bray why are you letting Lex back into power, how can you just let her tell you all todo something I thought you all were about voting." ‟Thats funny, I mean I think you kicked me out without the tribe voting on in." ‟Danni, Amber has been the leader of this tribe, from the start and she has always done what was best for the tribe, even if that means putting herself last." Salene said standing and taking the girls hands and moving toward the sitting room. Danni just stormed away and down the stairs, with Bray following her. Ebony looked at Amber who had a look of pain in her eyes. She just got up and walked toward her best friend's room.
‟Are you ok?" Trudy said as she sat at on the bed next to Amber. ‟How could I have been so stupid to think that Bray..." She didn't continue, just put her head into the pillow. ‟Amber he loves you, I don't think that he would due that to you or his child." ‟Why not, I mean he does have it good right, his women and child out of the picture and he can get nice and cozy with the replacement." ‟Lex! What do you want?" ‟I am just saying that something has be done." ‟Lex, Get off the power trip, you're back as a leader let that be enough."
